I decided to try posting on marketplace some slightly used shirts of my husband this morning. And boom my messenger did not stop with the notifications one after another. The reason why all of a sudden I am suddenly busy.
I sold 5 shirts in total but I'm exhausted with the messages
It has been a while since I sell something online.

DE, marketplace is on a facebook link. It gives a person as big or as small of an audience as they want to get, works just like an online yard sale does. I've used it and so have my sons. The only big thing is to always meet at a safe place.

Congratulations! It feels so good to be able to sell stuff. I sold some of my books a few months back, and I was happy to have found people who are willing to adopt them.

That's good to hear. I haven't tried selling our preloved stuff online but I always do garage sale yearly. Every time I declutter, I sell all items that are still good but we no longer use. Its nice to make some money out of it and see our old things find a new owner.

@merrybelle2021 I give unsold items away or donate to charity. But most of the time we are able to sell almost everything only few are left.

Eli, are you able to sell everything at your yearly garage sale? It takes a lot of time and effort for us. What do you do with the unsold items?

@rakski MAybe those were really good shirts like branded ones and barely worn. Do you format it to within 10kms radius?

@solidcodes either the seller or the buyer can book lalamove. I ask them to book them since they will be the one paying the fee.
That is the beauty of FB marketplace and the technology nowadays. Years back, I have to do the shipping go to courrier to mail their orders. Nowadays, we do not need courriers but delivery app unless they are really from provinces.

The twenty five dollars is a nice reward for getting some things gone and putting up with the messages.
