Every night, a fight

I cannot tell you how big Bruno actually is. He is the largest cat I have ever had.
When I go to bed I have to hurry and get my feet spread out, because every night is a fight. He is heavy. He will not move. Often he comes and finds me at 9 p.m. and say "Mom it is time for bed." Then he lays where my feet belong.
The light is not bright in this picture, but here he is, all 21/2 feet of kitty. That does not include the tail.
Our pets love us, I think.

I can empathize. This is a king-size bed and what I have to deal with every night when I go to bed. Whether as small as Henry or as big as Bruno, our cats sure know how to take up the most space, don't they?

Bitty will curl up atop Bob's head from time to time.

@GardenGerty I can only have one pet here, so I don't run into that, but remember it all too well from having multiple cats in the past.

He kind of blends in on my blanket. He weighs a ton.

@GardenGerty He looks like he weighs a ton. Do you have him on a diet?

@just4him I just do not feed him as much as my sister did. He plays and interacts with Bitty. I know he has lost some weight. When he first came he almost could not get up on the bed, as I have it on risers. I have not gotten him a rabies shot yet, so I have not let him outside. It would probably be good for him, but I do not know if he has any survival sense.

Maybe you need a longer bed. Hehe
He s like our Mittens. He's big and chubby. He's our chubby monkey. He sleeps at my daughter's feet but is not a hog.

Bruno really is a "big" boy. It's funny how pets can tell time. Our little dog Mush knows when it's 10pm and time for my daughter to go to bed. She goes and sits by the stairs and stares at her until she gets up and heads to bed.

Our fur babies are creatures of habit. My dog knew that I would take a nap after work at 7 pm every night. He would wait on the landing of the steps, waiting for me to go upstairs with him. So sweet.

I can relate to what you are saying. Thankfully my larger cat, Dude, sleeps on the sofa cushions the first part of the night, then he visits my feet in the morning. Brendel is another story. At only 6 pounds she is everywhere, all night. The things we do for our cats.

Part of that is my sister over fed him, but he was big to begin with.
