Cat FRAP

Frequent, Random, Activituy Pattern !! Otherwise kn own as the Zoomies.
Mostly seen in youngish animals, kittens, puppies.
Bitty has FRAP this morning. The weather changed is my only excuse for her.
We had summery weather yesterday, then the temperatures dropped. The wind came up overnight.
Bitty is tearing around jumping on and off the beds and other furniture. Racing down the hallways.
Just a bit too much excitement for me.

Bitty was lazy and calm until we got her anemia under control.

@rebelann You are not entertaining enough, I guess. Maybe he needs a rubber ducky for his water bowl.

Patch had that when I let her back in this morning. But we are still warm with possible storms later

Maybe she is telling you that she feels the storms.

I said the same about my Dude this morning. We are warm today and that is the only excuse I can find for his behavior. He is running around all over the place and talking a lot more than usual. He is 9 y/o so I can't blame it on his age.

At some point I guess we all have to slow down, even our pets.

I'm sure you and your hubby love it when Bitty tears around the house on furniture and up the walls and across the ceiling.
I hope you have a wonderful day today.

@GardenGerty You could tease your hubby and tell him Bitty was so excited that you're surprised there aren't kitty footprints across the ceiling.

Peter had the kitten zoomies yesterday. Somehow he got into one of the cupboards where I store bowls. I got up to find a footed bowl on the floor. It now has a huge chip on it so it can't be safely used. Going to have to trash it.

@GardenGerty Good idea. It is kind of small for a plant. Last week Peter skiied up onto a table and down went a little plate. Smash. Guess I will be haunting thrift stores super soon.

I knew FRAP before I knew zoomies. Zoomies is more descriptive as they just zoom about every where.

I don't think any of my kitty companions ever had the zoomies.

You really missed out. Thankfully none of mine have ever climbed the curtains. We had some that did growing up. Just run across the room and zip right up the curtains.
