I feel lazy and tired

That is what swimming did for me. I should sleep well tonight. I fell asleep sitting in my desk chair. We had a nice lunch. Lots of variety. Chicken salad, corn dip, bean and corn salad. Fritos corn chips. I broke or chipped a tooth at lunch. It does not hurt, so they (the dentist) will not see me until next Tuesday. I managed to put a lot of my plants outside yesterday, and I think that is next on my "to do" list for tonight. Fresh air, exercise, sunshine. It's all good.

I had never learned to swim. But love sitting by the pool or at the beach.

Very calm place to be. I take a student to the swimming pool. I walk around and he swims on his back in a life vest.

This week, I feel lazy and tired too. Maybe it's time to have a week rest.

@GardenGerty Maybe I just suffered a burnout. Or maybe due to the medications I took recently.

I do envy you sometimes, I haven't been swimming in decades and I miss that but I also wouldn't want to try to swim with all the teenies in the public pools. I've become soo picky. I hope your tooth will be an easy fix for the dentist.

Had to cancel my appointment, I have strep. When we go swimming it is just our students with each one having an adult support.

So you don't actually get to swim?

Pretty and I just cleaned up the trash and limbs out of our yard and Pretty mowed the front 1/3 of the yard. (That's all a full battery will mow with our electric mower. That's why I want another gas mower.) I have some plants that need to be put outside for the Summer but I need to change the soil in some of the pots that will stay in the house. Have a good night.

Plants, like pets, need their care and can be a lot of work.

@GardenGerty Oh, yeah... I'll need to buy several bags of potting soil before I worry about the plants too much, though.

I like exercise that pretends to be something else, like yard work or putting plants outside.

@GardenGerty That does help. But it's still not going to stay warm enough here yet for taking my plants out

I went to the Centre this morning and got my hair cut, then spent a few hours in the afternoon doing my own yard work until the shadow of the house covered the area I was working. A strong wind blew up, as well. So I went in and laid down for a nap. I think it was the warm sun that tired me out more than anything. It was 23°C/73°F.

I do feel that way too after swimming. but not only feel tired but hungry as well. Swimming has the same effect to my son. So when he was 7 and had his swimming lessons he was able to gain weight. Not overweight.

That's a shame about your chipped tooth. Any dental work will be costly.

I have dental insurance that will cover at least half of it. I also have a benefits card with money on it to pay for the rest.
