Extended. Not Again.

Hello everyone! It's nice to be back posting here. My supposed return to home will not happen in May. My work onsite will be extended until July. I was absent for two days last month because of my back pain. And that did not give me chance to waive the absences. I still thank the Lord because maybe He allowed it so I can join campus ministry. I have lots to post.

Oh, I'm sorry... That means you won't be able to go home to see your family very soon, doesn't it? But at least you're getting lots of work and money to use for your house.... Tell us everything.

Because I was out for two days, that did not qualify me for my best effort last month. I had 100% qa and survey scores. My supposedly $300 incentive was forfeited.

@DaddyEvil that rights! I thought my 2 days absences will be waived off because of the reason. But yeah, I accepted it but will be better this month and so on.

@jobelbojel my wife also has the same problem, she doesn't miss her therapy and that's how she gets relief from the pain and it cannot be eliminated.

It is still tolerable. I can feel the pain from time to time. I stopped my therapy.

I think that is now the effect if recovering from the pandemic most employers would want their workers to report physically. As a result of these lots of employees are also hesitant to report because they got used to the WFH arrangement. When they report there are those that do get sickly because they are not used to traveling back and forth their homes and workplace.

I am okay now with traveling and renting dorm. I just can't go to work for two days last month.

I had dreadful previous months at work too, to the extent that I so want to quit... You seem to be very positive despite the bad luck, good on you!

I am trying to be positive despite the not so good previous month. It was actually good, it was just the 2 absences that disqualified me.

@jobelbojel I sincerely wish the universe has some compensation system, as in, if we were so unfortunate (not from our fault) then the universe would reward us back 2x (with goodies, money, blessings etc) for the sufferings we had had to bear unfairly.
