Have you ever eaten at a Red Robin Restaurant?

Red Robin is a chain burger joint which is pretty good. They have a nice rewards program, free burgers for your birthday month, and other freebies throughout the year. They just said in with a 10.00 purchase they would throw in a free appetizer or dessert. My weight loss program does not need me to be chomping that down, but I was thinking, I could perhaps put the dessert in the freezer and just nibble on it, when I felt the urge..it would probably last a month. They have a slice of mud pie with whipped cream that I love...I am pretty good with disciplining myself like that. I will think about it.

@LadyDuck Most of the Ruby Tuesday's in this region have closed. Too bad, as I always liked their salad bar.

@snowy22315 - I remember we tried a couple of Ruby Tuesday restaurants. The one in Atlanta (GA) was good, the one in Tallahassee (FL) not so much.

@Juliaacv I am always in looking for a good dessert mode. I didn't get to get it but we stopped at a place when we went up to PA that had brownie cheesecake. Now, that I really wanted to try but they were too busy in there. I couldn't take the time to eat there and had to leave. That was probably a good thing!

@snowy22315 Off of the top of my head we do not have chain type of restaurants that have delicious desserts, most come in a box in the shape of a "pie" if you know what I mean.

About 20 years ago we ate at one in Dallas while visiting a friend. I recall it being real good.

Oh yes, we have a Red Robin fairly close by. I love their strawberry lemonade. I don’t eat there often so that’s probably a good thing. However, if someone reading this has never been, and then they get a chance to go, definitely give it a try!

If you knew you could allow yourself to have a couple of bites whenever you wanted it, it would probably help. A piece of that pie is enough that I could share it with friend too if I wanted.

We eat there sometimes, there is one not far from where I live and they have a gluten-free option which is nice for my 8-year-old. The only dessert he can have is their milkshake. He has never been sick from them usually when we tell him he has a good allergy they are extra cautious.

We don't have one here. I couldn't have any kind of dessert in the freezer because my mother will eat it instead. I have been addicted to Oreo ice cream sandwiches. Yesterday I found out my mother already opened the box.
