17 May - What I'm Thankful for Today

Today was good.
I'm thankful for the sleep I got last night. With my brain nothing more than mush when I got off the computer after finishing the edit for Where Eagles Soar, I needed mindless TV, so I didn't get to bed until 10:30. I got my usual amount of sleep.
I'm thankful I got almost all my online work done before the exercise class this morning. We had 10 people with me for the class this morning. I put in 5 miles on the bike while everyone worked out to the tape.
I'm thankful I started the publishing process this morning. I have the ISBN number and categorized the book as Fiction, Christian, and Historical. I'm reading through it to make certain about typos, grammatical errors, and readability. This will be a fast read. Most of the work is finished. I'm hoping to hit the publish button by Saturday.
I'm thankful I spent some time here. Not much. You are an important part of my day and I want to make the effort to be here even though I am focused on publishing Where Eagles Soar.
I'm thankful for rock painting. I started a new rock today. It is the picture for the book cover. So far it looks fantastic. Next time I will fill in the clouds and call it finished. That will be in two weeks. I plan to take the rock with me when I do any kind of book signing.

Sounds like the WES publishing is going along well. I'm just trying to get some stuff online done. What are you putting on the next rock?

How old are you? My mother will be turning 83 years old this year. I and my siblings are truly and deeply grateful to God for it. My point in sharing this is that we don't need to look further in seeking and seeing miracle to happen Each day we wake up is already a miracle. God is good, all the time.

Yes, He is. That's wonderful that your mother will be 83 this year. I'll be 70 in another month. Not next month. This one is almost over.
