Another Member of the Fab Four

Yesterday @JudyEv posted about a character named Paddington Bear and a photo of a statue of this bear. I looked at the photo carefully thinking where had I seen that before. Then I remembered that in 2007 my husband Martin had gone to the UK to visit his son, who lived outside of London. He had taken a photo of him and the bear so I commented on that and posted the photo for her to see.
During that trip, they had gone to Madame Tussauds Wax Museum in London. He took photos of many different famous figures. One of them was the photo you see with the Fab Four. I think at that time Martin looked very much like a member of the group.

Wow, that's a wax rendition of the group? They look so realistic.

@MarshaMusselman one of the better ones I have seen but Madame Tussauds is famous for their wax figures

@RasmaSandra I've heard of them before, but I don't know anyone that's ever been there.

The figure of the far right doesn't resemble George at all, just my perspective. The other Fabs I can see a likeness. Hmm, maybe Martin could have passed for Pete Best, the group's original drummer.

you made me chuckle @dgobucks226 when you said Pete Best but hey, perhaps. Yes, but at least these wax figures can be recognized for who they are supposed to be. Some wax museums have done a lot worse and no figure looks like what it should actually be.1 person likes this
