22 May - What I'm Thankful for Today

Good evening. It has been a long day.
I'm thankful the initial work for Where Eagles Soar is done. I'm stalled at the cover. It was the one thing I worried about. I called my son to ask him to come over, but he can't come with his girlfriend until Wednesday. I tried working with it on Canva, but I can't get it to work. If I knew how to make covers, I would be very happy.
I have the manuscript downloaded for publishing. So, that's a good thing. Once I get the front cover fixed, I can proceed to publish.
I'm thankful the nurse came on time. I think he was early. He was here for an hour and a half. It wasn't 100% about my health. I also told him I'm an author and talked about my books. What can I say? My books come up in every conversation. He was impressed and he saw I'm healthy. He also gave me the name of another doctor when I told him I would like to change doctors. I will call her. So it was a good time.
Okay, that was my entire day. Oh, I did run the dishwasher, folded and put away the sheets and towels I washed yesterday, took the garbage down, and made my bed.
What are you thankful for today? Thanks for reading. The image belongs to me. Not the cover. So now the earliest the book will be published is Wednesday afternoon. My latest rock. I gave it to a friend.

I'm thankful that our weather is cool and not too warm. I'm thankful that our deal is almost finished, to purchase our property. The process is slow, yet it's progressively moving along.

Congrats on getting your book done. A lot of work. Always happy to read about your good report from the nurse. I am sure your friend will treasure the rock you made for her.
Thankful for my heath and of course the bluebirds are still making me happy. Have a great day.

Thank you. Yes, it was a lot of work.
Thank you. It was a good session with him. I didn't know what to expect, but not someone who was more human than clinical.
I'm glad you're healthy and can enjoy those bluebirds. I've been seeing cardinals but they're too fast to get pictures.

Quite a pretty rock. Glad things are mostly going well. Wish I could help with Canva, but I can't. I know they use it at the high school some, though.

Canva is a great tool. I've done a couple of covers with it. I didn't create the covers, but I did utilize it for the cover.

I am thankful my internet at home is working again, after being offline for a few days. That was bad. Luckily, I had mobile internet on my phone though

Hope you get the cover fixed.
Thankful for time outside and to be feeling better now. Earlier today I was tired and cold. Its almost 80 here.

I hope that the new doctor will work out for you. You got a lot taken care of today.
I am thankful for mowing our yard today while Mike worked at the church with some of the other men. They worked on drainage lines to let the water drain farther away from the church when it rains.
