Is there cause for worry? For grave concern? I think there is.
On Monday the fake image of an explosion near the Pentagon went viral. The image was generated by AI - artificial Intelligence - and caused the stock market to dip, and other disturbances until officials clarified that the photo was a fake.
Recently too in a certain country,
the faces of the President, the police minister and his wife were superimposed on pornographic images and distributed to police officers and on social media.
What next ? How much damage can AI cause now and in the near future? Are you concerned? Is it too late to do something about it?

Yeah, I think we need to worry. It's everywhere, and this is likely just the beginning. I saw a commercial the other day, that I am pretty sure the "people" they were showing in the vehcile were AI.

@Kandae11 Yep, give it a few years. However guess what? They would come in handy for dismantling bombs and such. Things that are too dangerous for people to do, maybe breaching terrorist or criminal hangouts and such. For every bad thing, there is usually a good.

We have to wonder if there will even be a world at all by then.
These things they keep depicting, like the Pentagon, etc. seem very real. If this keeps happening and people keep seeing these things, pretty soon, no one is going to believe anything is real at all, so they will ignore it. I have to wonder if that's not what some people want us to believe--that the images are fake. No, I am not a conspiracy theorist by any means! But if we all think it's all fake, then we will do nothing, and that opens the door wider for the real thing(s) to happen, because we didn't do anything. Al is so real it's terrifying. Does anyone have the answers, or the power to stop it all? Not that I can see.

Programmers for AI need to go in and add something so the AI has to check each image and see if it's a real person/thing before it can create anything using those images. I'm sure that will happen sooner or later but don't know how much damage will be caused before it's been done.

@Kandae11 The problem now is who knows when the programmers will get around to doing that. I would think they should have anticipated this kind of thing happening so should have put that type of programming in as permanent when the set up the AIs.

@DaddyEvil The question is - will they want to do anything about it? It might be considered - hindering progress.

AI should be used judiciously and not callously. Such picture are prove of callous attitude of the government officials who know how to curb them.

it is never acceptable to spread false or misleading information. The spread of fake images can cause panic, confusion, and harm to individuals who may be affected by the situation. There should be a sensor installed in all A. I software's to filter such anti social activities

At least for now, I am not worried about Al, I have other things concerning my life, If it gets out of hand me being a anxiety-ridden person I will just shut off my PC and not every turn it on again,
