I cannot believe I am off work / myLot

I am sure eventually it will sink in, when I do not have other things to get done. There are fun things I want to do, and cleaning and organizing to do. My daughter will be here about bed time tomorrow night, and that will be good. Meanwhile, I will just putter around, wash some dishes, pay some bills, but also will get to stay in bed a bit later tomorrow. I have come and read posts a bit today, and that was a nice change of pace. A friend of my sister's called. He missed the memorial service, because he does not pick up his mail. I sent the information to him a month ago. Anyway, he needed to talk, for about an hour. I hope I always have time for people in my life.

Yes, and he knows that he has had more than one unfortunate consequence. He is older than I am, maybe older than Bob, he has to be responsible for himself.

Change always takes time to get used to. Although when it's school vacation, by the time you're used to the time off, it's time to go back. Enjoy the time off, especially sleeping in.

Mainly I want to get caught up inside and out. Last year was awful for illnesses for both of us and hitting the deer with the car and my sister, etc. I am ready for some positives.

I'm glad you separated "fun things" and "cleaning and organizing" in your second sentence.

Uhm... if you need more things to do, there's still one section of my yard that needs to be mowed before it rains.

@GardenGerty I don't know how much yard there is here. It's a lot bigger lot than at our last house. I finally got the last of it mowed and the front yard is looking ready to mow again.
