How many of you watched Sister Wives, The reality show about plural marriages , the four wives married to Kody Brown, and their seventeen children. I don’t know if they will film another season. Last season they were all fighting and wives were setting out on their own. The four wives are Meri, Janelle, Christine and Robyn. I’ve just read a book written about them published in 2012. In the book they were all working together to have a successful marriage. If you saw the last season everything had changed considerably. I hope they do run the show another season. I’m curious to know what happens within the family. Most of the kids are grown up and married. It’s completely different now than when the book was written.

I happened to see a couple of episodes of that last week, and now I know why I don't watch that show. Kody to me is a narcisscist, and I don't think the wives are much better honestly. All they do is fight on that show,

It wasn’t that bad when I first watched the show but the last season was something else. I’d still like to know what happened in the end.

I’ve heard too much from their children and the now ex wives to be able to watch it without wanting to kick Kody in the rear end. The way he talked about his wives in the last few years is downright infuriating. Frankly, I can’t believe the women wanted to stay with him.

I saw that during the last couple of seasons during the pandemic. He was not the same old Kody. I liked him to begin with. I couldn’t understand why any woman would consider sharing her husband, but it was interesting. I do hope they come back another season but I doubt they will.

@RubyHawk The one named, Kristine (spelling?), said she was willing to continue to film, but everyone seems so spread out. I hope a couple of the kids get therapy, and I hope Meri realizes she deserves respect and understanding. Hopefully, she'll find a man that truly values her. She brought along drama, but she's got holes in her heart that need fixing.

@AmbiePam I believe they all have holes in their hearts and need therapy to have normal lives. They have been stomped on and stomped on each other. I’m wondering about all the children. Did you hear if they will continue the show?

My paternal grandmother has a brother who has three wives living in the same house. Two are sisters. Real sisters. He has lots to children from his three wives and other children from other women too. My father had a close relationship to all of his cousins so we have a very close relationship with them too.

That’s interesting. I haven’t known any Mormon families but I understand there are lots of plural families out there. I would have liked to know such a family. Did the three wives get along in a friendly way?

Years ago I watched that show. I just remember that the one wife was super addicted to having nice things and racking up huge credit card bills.

That was Meri. The last show I saw they were all fighting. Christine and Janelle were leaving and Kody was behaving like a wild bull. I still want to know what happened.

I don’t know why they choose to share a husband but that’s their religion and how they were brought up.

I remember a movie about something like that but it was filmed in the 70s or 80s and it made the hubby out to be a real control freak.

@jstory07 Ann .Rule is one of my favorite authors. She was in law enforcement and wrote about Cases she worked with. If you haven’t read her books, you would like them. She also has pictures of those she writes about.

That must have been before Robin came into the family. Cody and Robin had one or two children and he adopted the two Robin already had.

@just4him I just looked it up and polygamy is against the law in all states but the penalty isn’t harsh and it isn’t often carried out. It might become legal in years to come. That’s the information I found.

I know that ''normal'' is not really a word to use much anymore, as normal is nearly extinct in most aspects. But these people are nuts. Who in the world wants to share their guy with 3 other women? And from what I can gather, he treated them terribly, didn't hardly work himself but was great at spending the money that the women earned. He is a narcissist in the highest form, and I will not be watching, it's just too gruesome and way, way too dramatic.

I would like to see the ending. I know they’ve all split up except Robin is still with Cody, the last I heard. Christine married and I believe Janell also. It was interesting how they all got along and raised the children. I wish they would have a final episode to explain the ending.

One of the wives has divorced Kody...Christine (to the best of my knowledge). The buzz is that he is also divorced from Robyn. I guess we'll have to see if they have another season of Sister Wives to get all the updates. Have a good day.
