Still Raining | June 13, 2023

I left Manila at 4 PM on Sunday. I arrived home, in my province, past 9 PM. So I spent the night at my father's house, actually our childhood home.
The house is almost done. We already got glass windows and yet to build the kitchen, which is my favorite part of the house.
Well, I haven't been able to go out and say hello to the neighborhood because of the rain. There are leaks on the walls because it is not yet finished. But, I felt comfortable now compared to previous visits.
It is still raining and I am about to go back to Manila to resume work on Wednesday night. Will leave the dorm and stay with my brother until July. Maybe 1st week I will be back home. I miss my bed, the AC, and the kids and family. In the meantime, my father will be left alone again. Hoping to visit him more often.

It's only my father. My siblings are in the other province where I also live. I might drop by if I still have time but will see them in July because I will be back working from home.

@DaddyEvil I am on the bus now. I planned to stop and see them but it's almost 7 pm and I need to go back to the dorm in Manila. I will visit them next week on my niece's birthday.

@rakski It is not always like this. My original rest days are Sat and Sun. My vacation leave was approved for 12 and 13. So technically, I have 4 days rest for June.

Hopefully soon. My brother is planning to move in when he moves out to his current house. He is selling it and the new owner will have to continue the amortization.

It was also raining here when I left my province last Monday... And my mother said it continued until Wednesday. I came home yesterday and the weather was good. But now it is raining again.

It was dry when I arrived in Cubao. Actually on my way, it was already dry in some part of Tarlac.

Glad I was able to go home and visited my father. My youngest brother went home this weekend too. Maybe he celebrated father's day at home.

There's so much stuff we need. But the ultimate goal is to have the doors installed. When I visited months ago, we don't have windows. It was chilly at night.

Oh, yeah. I won't miss the traffic too. I am moving out of the dorm today. Will stay at my brother's apartment for roughly 2 weeks and then going back to work at home set up

@jobelbojel I remember having the same feeling when I'm working in Manila before. I felt sad whenever I leave my parents alone in our house in the province. That's good, I hope you and your family are safe and healthy.
