Best Seat in the House for Entertainment!

That’s the good thing about living by myself….it’s the only seat in the house for entertainment. 
I have one of the live cameras in St. Augustine, Florida pulled up and showing on my TV so I can watch the fireworks display. There’s a nice crowd gathered at the fort (officially, the Castillo de San Marcos National Monument), and it appears that the fireworks will go off over the St. John’s River.
I hope everyone’s had a nice holiday here in America. I certainly hope everyone has been safe, especially around fireworks. I like nice and dull holidays. 
Two weeks from today my colonoscopy is scheduled, so you’ll forgive me for having a crappy attitude that weekend. After that, assuming everything’s okay with the scope (I’m not having any problems that would lead me to expect otherwise), I might take off for a jaunt through Ohio and West Virginia.

We didn't watch fireworks. We just listened to them until they stopped at 12:15 am!!!! I hope your colonoscopy goes OK. I hate them. Enjoy your day.

@FourWalls I won't have another colonoscopy because the prep made me so sick. The actual procedure is not good because they won't give you enough anesthesia.

Hope you enjoyed your 4th of July. I have neighbors who put on a fireworks display almost as good as the Macy's one. Like you best seat in the house, it's my front porch. And No tickets needed
P.S.- Maybe the colonoscopy news was a bit too much information. Thanks for sharing

It’s a regularly scheduled one, not because anything’s screwy. (Well, what’s screwy about me needs a longer scope to get up to my brain to see. )

After that I’m free until my brother’s colonoscopy in late August. He’s taking me to mine and I’m taking him to his.

Mike and went over to his Mom's yesterday afternoon and had lunch with her. We had a good time. Watched some of her favorite game shows, it's the only time we watch game shows.
Didn't watch any fireworks. We have gone out to our porch before to watch the neighbors but didn't feel much like it last night.
Praying for a good report from your upcoming exam.

I also hope everyone in the US was safe tonight. In Fort Worth near where I live there were several shooting on the 3rd. It was really sad.
