20 July - What I'm Thankful for Today

Today was a good day. Someone said it rained a couple of times today. We're still in the abnormally dry category for the drought we're in.
I'm thankful for friends who share the pie with me, so I don't need to eat it all myself.
I'm thankful I kept my calories low today, so far. I still need to eat supper. I've only had breakfast and pie.
I'm thankful for Canasta. I wasn't a winner, but I wasn't the loser either. I was in the middle. There were three of us today as the others went to the sing-along in the other building.
I'm thankful I got the notifications done earlier today. I always enjoy seeing what you're doing in your part of the world.
I'm thankful for the work I did on a book today.

I had a good day, too. I got Chilly's report back, he's doing well. I'm thankful his values are good. I made an appointment for him, for his six-month follow-up. So, I'm thankful that's done. I was thankful I was using my phone when it rang and I didn't miss the call.

What a great picture, your smile lights up your face and brought a happy feeling and a smile to my face.
My mother used to play canasta, she loved it.
Some of the other farmer's wives met every week and she was invited into the circle and enjoyed it.
I ate all day long today. The downfall to working in the office as they showered us with coffee and donuts and there was cake and just too much all together. I cannot sleep now because I ate too much.
I am thankful for the sweet people that I have in my life, both virtually as well as live.

I’m thankful my legs quit hurting. I was so active yesterday, I did too much. Thankfully, I just had a migraine today that only took four hours to get rid of. That’s rare to get rid of one so fast.

I wish you were too. I still have one slice left. It's my lunch today. Yes, lunch. With as many calories as it punches, it will be the only thing I have until later. I'm doing my best to get my calories back under control.
