So, I did not get the nap

I got an important phone call as I was finishing my cup of coffee yesterday. This post may be too long and complicated, so if you do not read it all, that is okay. It is complicated, but we have been working with a grant program to get new heaters for our home. They had indicated that they needed to REPLACE OUR ROOF first.I had called the contact I had Monday morning, before the tree came down. Okay, so it is complicated, as the agency has never had the set up we have for replacing the heat. We have four wall furnaces. Agency usually will only replace one. Working on using us as a guinea pig for the granting agency, the state of Kansas. They cannot replace the roof unless they are going to do the weatherization work for us. One thing I did learn is that I need to make sure Al is licensed if they are going to help us with the roof. I have not heard from Al since Monday. I hope his wife is okay. They were heading to an appointment. Bret, the contact person for me will call me back on Wednesday when he hears more from Jerry who is in contact with the state. It would be really wonderful if they finally got around to replacing our heater. I am going to meet Jane for coffee this morning. Bob and I have prescriptions to pick up after that. So, after talking on the phone twice with Brett yesterday I went out and sawed small branches off. Yes, I slept well last night.

That does sound complicated... I hope everything works out for you. We're talking with OACAC about replacing windows and doors on the house we're renting. It's interesting, at least. The owner has to give the okay for the work to be done. (Why they wouldn't want free work done on their house, though, I wouldn't know. They still haven't agreed yet.)

Probably trying to figure out if they can increase the rent because of it.

@BarBaraPrz Maybe, I don't know. When we rented it, they were worried because nobody had even looked at the house in over six months. At least we're keeping it clean and the yard mowed.

Usually, anything that is not going to cost you is complicated, it is the way of the world. But it will be great if they can do it for you.

Glad you slept well, Not sure I understand it all but at least I wish you all the best and I hope it all works out fine, just shows how my muddled brain works. When I read about Al being licensed my first thought was you were talking about Al the artificial intelligence and then realized you were talking about a person named Al. I'll be all right just a little bit too much Internet time,
