Howdy from Ohio. I’m smack dab in the middle of things…sorta. I’m about 20 miles east of the state capital of Columbus.
It was a pleasant drive up. I noticed that Ohio’s state plant, the orange construction cones, are in full bloom along interstate 71. 
Since it’s not a far drive I filled the car up right after lunch (at Chuy’s in Florence, Kentucky) and drove straight up.
I’ve made contact with two myLotters I’m excited to hopefully meet up with this weekend. Kelli (@SpiderDust ) is here for a family reunion, and Eva (@wolfgirl569 ) lives on the other side of Columbus.
My plans, such as they are, are to go to a town that I thankfully only have to spell and don’t have to pronounce: Gnadenhütten! There was a terrible incident in American history there during the Revolutionary War, and I want to go learn about it “in person.” Sunday I’ll hopefully have lunch with Kelli, then Monday poor Eva will be stuck with me. But I’ll get to see George the Horse!!!! 
After that, I want to see the prison where The Shawshank Redemption was filmed (that’s in Mansfield, Ohio). Hopefully, if she’s up to it, I could stop by to see Linda (@LindaOHio ) if she’s feeling up to it. From there…who knows? I’d like to run up to Buffalo to see a few things before heading over to West Virginia to go to Harpers Ferry…but you know how easily I get distracted by those brown informational signs.

Those flowers seem to pop up all over. On one of our trips to Minnesota one "reached out and touched" our passenger mirror. Luckily son in law is a parts manager and very handy. He got one and helped Bob replace it during our visit.

Let me know when you head to Kansas. I have met a few Lotters in person. Some no longer participate. I should see @AmbiePam more often, though as she is in Oklahoma. Looking forward to reading your adventures.

I am tied up the 24th and 25th with plans I cannot change. I will be home but Monday our housekeeper will be here and Tuesday I signed up for a focus group. We would have to meet away from the house anyway. This is embarrassing; but my husband does not want me to give out our address anymore. I am going to talk to him to see if he would change his mind. What do you think? Can we do this somehow?

That sounds like an awesome trip! I hope you get a chance to connect with Kelli, Eva and Linda. I don't know Kelli very well, but I would love to meet up with Eva and Linda. Make sure you get lots of pictures if you do get to visit with them!
