Very Cool Sunday Morning

The house often feels cool in the mornings but when I get outside in the sun it feels nice. This morning it still felt a little cool. We got down to 60 F overnight. But it will warm up into the 80s today.
I don't have much I want to get finished today. I will do some dishes and maybe give Duke doberman a shower. Then this evening I will vacuum the family room. Except for that I will do my phone apps and crochet. Right now that would feel good laying on my lap.
I thought one of the prickly pear cactus plants I bought last year had died over the winter. I looked at the pot this morning while I was outside and noticed it is trying to start growing from a piece of it. So I moved it to a different area where I have other plants setting. I was very happy to see it.

I do wish we got still had cool mornings. It has averaged in the 80s the last few nights and nearing 90 by early morning.

@wolfgirl569 .......It sure is. I don't get to sleep until between 2a. and 6a. when it is so hot. And then I leave the A/C on too.

@wolfgirl569 Cloudy also this morning and cool.It happened that I throw a pot thinking the plant was gone and I saw it coming back.

It was 60F here yesterday morning.... It felt nice to me.
We were at 65F this morning when I went to sleep. It was still storming at that time.
Unless you let prickly pear cactus freeze, it shouldn't die. What were you doing to it?

That's a little cool to me but not bad.
That's a better temperature.
I am not sure what happened to it. The pad I planted seemed to root okay like the other 2. But then it started drawing in on itself. I know they were not getting as much sun as they should but the other 2 were fine. The other 2 are now growing more pads

It rained for two days and when that happens our DTH cable connection does not function. Was without tv for 2 days. Even today I do not see it working. It could be more than just the weather. Must call them to check

I love that photo. The cats now think it is all my fault. The roofers who are fixing the roof here started yesterday.and the cats hid all day. They arrived early today and only stayed a couple of hours upsetting the cats and they have to return tomorrow anyway so they could have skipped Sunday, After the cats came out a torrential rain started, big wind, and claps of thunder. The way Freddie looked at me it was like aw come on lady cut the crap

It's cool here this morning in Michigan, about 58 degreesF. Yes, it will warm up, but I love this, more than the heat! Duke will love a bath:) Have a great day, Eva:) xo

Morning air is very refreshing and healthy for our lungs. and a cat on the picture already gone playing around.
