A great trip....back to home.

Good afternoon from this side of the planet 
. It's another post as I wait for my flight at the airport. The trip comes to an end and it was a great trip, one of the best ones . College reunions are the best. Good food, good company, fun and tourism...one can not ask for anything more
And the best thing was to get to spend one night with my elder daughter in my brother's place .
Now all fun ends and I look forward to work from tomorrow morning. . This trip actually rejuvenated me.

@arunima25 We haven't been on any sort of major trip in a long time 
. It is good to break away from the daily routine of life when we can. Where will you go for the next one? Seeing family is always nice . You may be tired, but it was a good tired

I totally agree there. We do need them and more when we are in age going through midlife crisis in all possible ways. 
. They do rejuvenate us. I am already looking forward to next one. We have planned one in 2024 Dec. Just hoping that all goes well.
I also got to meet my mother and brother's family along with my elder daughter. Some happy times though it was just for a day

Oh! Sure you are going to have a wonderful trip to home, especially meeting baby Gianni for the first time.

@LadyDuck One should never keep travel plans for old age. You don't have the energy to travel so much. Also, we all develop different health issues with ageing. You did the wise thing to travel all that you could in young age.

I totally enjoyed it. Came back packed with so many memories.We do need them and more when we are in age going through midlife crisis in all possible ways. . They do rejuvenate us. I am already looking forward to next one. We have planned one in 2024 Dec. Just hoping that all goes well.

@arunima25 Oh wow!! December 2024 is a long way away. 
Now we and our close friends are all in our 70s, we try to get together more often. And our class group try to meet every year now although of course not everyone can make every meeting.

All is well here. Thank you for your concern. I am busy with all good reasons. A new work responsibility, a new role ( that I always wanted) and restarted to take therapy sessions in the afternoon. So, got all busy with life. . I am not much online these days. But still try to peep in here whenever I can .

Sounds like you had fun - I only got a call to one university reunion - only me and one tutor from my year and course turned up among hundreds of students from other courses and years - it was still a very nice event though

Glad that it was a nice event despite many missing out. Ours is more like a planned trip where a huge group of friends come together and plan it. We plan our next meeting in December 2024. It's a long wait but I am looking forward to it.
