What would You do with $10,000?

While surfing on Facebook, I found a contest to write an inspiring story about your cat. The top prize is $10,000.
What would you say about your cat? What would you do with the money if you won? Would you spend it on your furbaby?
I can't give any links to the contest but thinking about it gave me the idea for this discussion. I know you will have interesting answers.

I don't have a cat and I am actually a dog person, though I am afraid of big dogs. It's a good amount of money to win simply for writing about your cat.

@akalinus Yeah. That seems a bit unfair. But a 1000-word poem may not be easy to write though.

We don't have cats; but the contest sounds cool. We probably would take some of it and put railings on the porch steps. I always worry about the Meals on Wheels people falling down the steps. Enjoy your day.

I hope you win the prize, Dearheart. 
When I was young, I had a cat named Sneakers. We only had Sneakers and dogs at our farm at the time and were surprised one day when we kept hearing a dog bark but we didn't recognize which dog was barking so my younger brother and I went looking. Imagine out surprise when we found Sneakers barking at a rabbit in the field.

I have no cat story.
but I will use the 10k to buy a new smartphone, tablet and the rest will invest it in FOREX.

FOREX is a financial market.
FOREX = Foreign Exchange.
It is where people trade currencies like U.S. dollars. Pounds, Yen. Piso etc...

This made me imagine of one grumpy old man here with cats. I'm pretty sure he could come up with such an interesting thing to say about his cats and has a good chance of winning.
I don't dream of it. I don't have cats but I have dogs. But I know I wouldn't stand a chance in winning. But if I ever did, I would save up the money. The fur babies will definitely be spoiled.

Hmmm...considering I don't have a cat, I could make up a really epic story to send in! haha
If I won $10k, the first thing I would do is settle up any taxes that are owed due to the award (which could be anywhere from 30-50% of the award amount). Then whatever is leftover would pay for an epic trip to Disney World!
