Hello dear mylotters, Yesterday I went out with my friend to check out an Italian neighborhood. It is very pretty and the shops are mostly either Italian bistros, restaurants, bars or cafes. There were some thrift stores selling Italian things. And some aesthetic shops selling antiques. I already visited the place earlier, and most of the restaurants were super expensive. So we deciders to just go to a simple pizza place which was the cheapest. Surprisingly, the pizza was very delicious, the yummiest I have ever had till now. After pizza my friend got some gelato, and even tho I didn’t wanted any, I ended up eating almost half of her . Pic is mine, we ordered the double cheese pizza with Pepsi. How was ur day today? When was the last time u guys had pizza?

@Anqaya People always say that frozen ones are not good, and I'm like, what brands are you getting? They are cheap and so good!

@DesirousDreamer Yes, true. They save a lot of money, and u can keep them in freezer with a content heart that we have pizza in our house. But do not know why people don't like them. They must buy old ones haha.

It sounds like you had a wonderful day. It has probably been six months since I had pizza, and cheese pizza is my favorite.

@Anqaya I’m trying to lose weight. Eating one piece of pizza wouldn’t be a big deal, but you normally have to buy a whole pizza, and I definitely don’t want to buy a whole pizza.

@AmbiePam Haha that’s true. Tbh if u go to work or somewhere daily and have less time to cook, pizza is better. I usually have a slice of pizza with baby spinach or fruits or apples or smoothies when my college classes take place. In this way I get balanced lol. But we go need to buy the whole thing, wished they sold the slices.

@Anqaya years ago I had gelato and it was the most amazing thing ever. This kind was not as good. Wasn’t worth the cost. It was way too sweet. I don’t recall the flavor I think chocolate peanut butter or something like that.

It sounds yum! I got a pizza last week. It was good, but I didn't eat it all. I was worried about the calories.

Haha thanks! It was really good! Yes the calories part also scares me. But I don’t eat pizza that often. My main weight gainer is ramen and instant noodles. What kind of pizza did u eat then?

Yum! That does look delicious! The last time we got pizza in a restaurant was before the pandemic. We still don't go out to restaurants to eat. Even though most people pretend Covid is gone, it isn't. And restaurant owners/managers make sick employees work even if they're sick. I don't want Covid so we don't go out to eat anymore.

@Anqaya You're welcome. You've been vaccinated for Covid and don't fit the profile for catching it. You still could catch it but probably won't. I do fit the high risk category and even though I've been vaccinated, I won't take the chance.

That sounds amazing. I love places like that. I miss when my town used to have a good Italian restaurant but they don't anymore. I live in a college town though so we have a lot of pizza places, we used to have more but several closed. I actually had pizza today but it was only Papa John's. We didn't want to cook and we wanted something cheap and we had a coupon for them so that's what we had.

I see. In fact, in my city many places have gone downhill too. This neighbourhood maybe one of the few surviving well. I hope nothing happens to this one. Oh yes, I can also find papa jones, rascal house in my school and I just got sick of eating rascal pizzas. They keep giving coupons to us too haha.

@Anqaya I eat a lot of things I'd rather not at times because of how cheap it is. Coupons make a big difference. Lately, we have been trying to cut back on what we spend with the price of everything and that means pizza is our go to when we don't want to cook but that said I'm getting sick of Papa John's.

@sissy15 Yes, I used to have papa jones pizza during my first semester when I still couldn't balance out my college life. They are sickening if u have them for four months straight at least 4 times a week. Sadly, it was the only cheap pizza in our campus. Now, I cook or make sandwiches for college. I am done with papa jones haha.

@Anqaya Well, for one, good pizza can be expensive. We don't really eat out all that much. I can eat any kind of pizza, but the kids prefer it with just cheese and pepperoni.

@allknowing Indian restaurant in Italy trip? Okay I think we can eat best Indian food in our own country lol. When people come to trip abroad, they wanna experience everything, including the food right? Or atleast there should be options, like those want to, can eat Italian, others can eat Indian. The beef and pork issue is always a problem for most of us, I personally don't eat them haha, but double cheese pizza is perfect for that problem.

I had pizza about a month ago. It was a Hawaiian (which is a Canadian dish), and I am not ashamed to admit it is one of my favorites to buy.

@Anqaya, You are right. People can put any topping on their pizza they choose. Now, ponder this. Do you consider ketchup a vegetable?

That looks great, I want to try it haha. No need to be ashamed, I love pineapple on pizza . Some of my friends also are against it, they say it is like putting ketchup in pasta. But pineapple slices of pizza just hits different.

@Chellezhere Actually, sorry but I consider tomato a vegetable. Back in my country, we cook tomatoes in every dish possible. So I don’t like tomatoes being fruit haha. But the point is, fruits on pizza actually tastes good. And we can eat whatever we find good, right? So why do these people have a problem. Pizza is everyone’s dish now, it is not “spaghetti alla carbonara” that we need to follow by book lol.
