How old is he? My son is 19 now and thank goodness so far he has never given me a headache and he has never been disobedient.

I am 20 now. I was a little like that during my high school before covid. Don't worry he will be fine. Maybe trying to match vibes with his friends haha. Don't know but kids these days are so different.

There could be a lot of factors. Between 6th class and 10th class, things change rapidly. Friends and the Teaching atmosphere in school and changes in body make an impact. At times, things can cause a bad influence. Plus non-fulfillment of inner wishes too can impact. In some ways, there are certain challenges which I too am facing. And yes, there is always the "Generational Gap" factor.

Oh dear, sounds like the terrible teens. It can be a really turbulent time for both the kids and their parents. I sympathise with your plight.

My daughter is 18.5 . . . the teen years can be tough. It can be difficult on us parents, but we have to remember too that they are going through changes as they become young adults (physically, mentally, etc). My son is almost 14 . . . so here we go again .

I hope he will change for the better.

It is part of growing up. He is in an age when he is neither a child nor an adult. We need to put up with children as they pass through such stages in life.
