Your Best Support

I was thinking about the support I have in my life today, which I am thankful for. My friends are great, my dad and his wife would back me if need be, my church has done unbelievable things for me, and I know some great Mylotters who would be there for me too. Even my sister would throw me a lifeline (with only a little reluctance). I’m not married (yet), but I don’t feel like I lack anyone, which I’m grateful for. So, I was wondering about your support. A heck of a lot of you would say your spouse, but who else do you also have to back you, and support you?

You are very lucky to have such a great support system. Honestly i don't think i have someone who can be there for me,the only person i can truly and confidently say will hold me down whenever is myself at this time.

Just siblings, nephews maybe because they from Kansas originally so do not know me well. My siblings would be very reluctant too but why I never really figure them in equation of if something goes wrong. Its what this country teaches the best out of all countries in the whole world, fix it yourself. That is true.

That's a good question....besides my husband it would be my close family (mother and grandmother) and a friend of mine that I have known online for almost 20 years. We never met in person, but she feels like a 2nd mother lol Some friends on here, especially when it comes to art.

I am very, very fortunate to have some wonderful friends and extremely supportive adult children. I don't take that lightly, I know how fortunate I am to have them all. I no longer have a spouse, by my own choice. That's fine. I am a better person without him than I ever was with him. I am glad that you have supportive people there for you, Amber. They are fortunate to have you in their lives.

Wow, that's a good question and first and foremost my answer would be God, but then also my husband, my brother and his wife, 2 of my 3 children, my pastor, and many friends. I am blessed. Thanks for this post, and the reminder of that.

Good for you to have a full arsenal of support system. With that kind of support, you'll be able to face anything. You're spot-on, my immediate support is my husband. Aside from him, I have my sisters and brothers, a cousin whom I'm close to, and two friends who are as real as you can get them. They are only few, but they are mighty. With them, I am very fortunate.
