Introducing Wesley Snipes

This discussion doesn’t really need a photo. You just need to imagine a very black cat with no white on it whatsoever. His name is Wesley Snipes He is one of our charges at our new house-sit. Unlike some cats we’ve cat-sat, he is on your lap as soon as you sit down which is a nice change although it does make it a little hard to crochet.
We arrived Thursday afternoon which was a good thing as it blew a gale that night and we had a lot of rain. We stayed in the caravan and it was rocking and rolling in the wind. The next day wasn’t much better but we moved into the house and the mother and twin boys left for Perth about 10.30am. They were meeting their Dad in Mandurah then going on to Perth to see the Mary Poppins stage-show.
They would have left early this morning to flew to Sydney then Moree in New South Wales then a 2 ½ hour drive to an outback Queensland station where the father comes from.

I think the actor Wesley Snipes was in a few action movies.
So I need to imagine the Black Cat as the Super Action Hero in a no brainer out and out action movie !
If Wesley is heavy, then it would be a task to keep him on lap !!
Sounds like a lot of rain with high speed winds!
Is it still quite cold there?

And what a nice job you have, cat-sitting. I used to do that for my Grandma whenever she'd go down to FL with my uncle.

Normally cats do not respond when called and even then that name - never mind (lol)s
Beckie our cat is pitch black and so I can imagine that scene but Beckie does not like to be touched unlike her baby who clings to me climbing up even when I am standing

Cats love staying in the lap. I has a cat named Pusu. She always came and slept in my lap whenever she found me sitting.

Love the name...I didn't name him but I used to have a black fellow by the name of Fluffdaddy. Named for an R and B singer that used to call himself Puffdaddy.

Wesley Snipes reminds me of the cat I once owned. She used to sit on my lap when I did my homework.
