I sat on my cellphone. And it is not the first time.

One of the main reasons why I still keep my line phone is because my cellphone is always lost. So I have the number nearby and I call it. When people bought black covers for their cellphones I bought a much more expensive bright one. It was then that I discovered that I had nothing black yet many of my belongings were bright colored, as my cellphone cover was. And the phone hid at any of those places. Today it was lost again. I first looked at it at the bathroom and in the kitchen. Then I checked if I had left it in the dining room table where I had had my lunch. But it wasn´t anywhere so I sat down on my bed to call with the line phone. And the bell sounded under my a**!!! S**t!! I got up and there it was. I had sat on it while I dialed the number. It happens with my most needed belongings. My tweezers are always there. How do they more from my night table I don´t know. Do you have such problems, friends?

What an interesting place to find your phone. No, I don't have that problem... My phone is either on my bed beside my laptop or in my front pants pocket...

@marguicha I have sat on glasses before... They weren't mine, though... Somebody thought it would be funny to see what I'd do if they put their glasses in the chair as I was sitting down. They weren't so happy when their glasses were crushed, though.

I should have a chain around my neck. But I would have to put too many things there and it would be too heavy. The only things that are never lost at my house are my keys, my passport and ID card and my credit card. I don´t even know now where my driver´s licence is as I´m not driving.

That´s the most important use of my land line. I usually call everyone from my cellphone because I have their numbers there and I don´t have to dial.

@LadyDuck Me too. I ask my friends to call me through the land line as the bell sounds better. Besides I always know where the line phone is while the cellphone is always lost.

It irritates me! I have a giant bed that I don´t use or need. Claudia needed to get rid of it and told me to have it so that she could come to take naps with me. She was here only once, the day when she left the children here while she went to tell Sofía´s father to get out of her house. There is a lot of room for those things. But they have to be on the small nest I have almost falling off the bed.

@JudyEv I will try, later on. I´d sell it for almost nothing. It would not fit in my next house.

I haven't had a landline in years and years. I don't ever want one again. Spammers here just love landline phones. A friend had a landline and a cell. She was tired of paying both bills, so she bought a lanyard thing she wears around her neck, it is a cell phone holder. So, it's never lost, she always knows where it is. She said buying that was a lot cheaper than paying for the landline, so there's that, anyway. If you don't do something like that, make some new habits, always have it with you--if you were to fall, you would need it within your reach.

@marguicha I had that too for awhile because it was cheaper to get the three bundled together. But I never bought a landline phone to plug in because I just didn’t want one. It was a one year special thing, and yes it was a bargain price for the two services I did use. But not anymore. Landlines in my area get hit hard by telemarketers and I hope I never have one again.

Things do tend to move around. I try to put my phone back in the same place each time so I don't lose it.

I´m sure that this house is full of evil elves. I would think that all this happens to me because I´m old but elves have followed me since my early childhood.
