Sitting in the truck on this glorious day

Dale had two doctors' appointments today, so I'm waiting in the truck while he's at the second one.
We both got our flu shots this morning, also.
Had a yummy steak and egg biscuit on the way (left home at 6:45 so, way too early to cook.)
We'll run a few errands while we're in "town" including Academy Sports, Kohls, and of course Walmart. Looking for a new bed for my bedroom...I'll miss the old one. It was an antique iron bedstead that Dale sanded and painted, but maybe some one in the local FB yard sale will want it.
The weather is absolutely awesome today. Beautiful fall leaves and sunshine, temp low 80s.
Hope you're having a lovely day...it feels so good to not be hurting anywhere for the most part.

Enjoy your glorious day weather-wise. Our beautiful days have ended and we have rain today and it's cold. If we get out of the 50s today it will be a miracle.
Hope you find a new bed while you're shopping. I need a new bed too but procrastinate going out to look for one.
I'll probably get my flu shot in a few weeks when I have my dr appintment.

I walked too much waiting for Dale at the eye doctor, now foot hurts too much. But we'll look in some furniture stores another day.

@porwest I do pretty good unless I walk too much at one time. I'm beginning to wonder if I'll ever have that foot surgery.

@1creekgirl Yeah, that happens to us, too. It doesn't seem like just waiting around can make someone tired but it can... I often take a nap after I get home from doctor appointments.

I hope Dale's appointments went well. I'm glad you got your flu shots. We still haven't gone to get ours and the COVID booster shots. We were supposed to have a frost last night and it's supposed to s**w and rain today. I'm already ready to count down to spring! I'm glad you're not feeling too bad. Hope you and Dale have a wonderful day.

Dale found out he has a concussion from a fall a couple of weeks ago. You know how men are, he didn't tell me when he fell. I wanted to kick him! He has an appt tomorrow for a brain CT scan.

@LindaOHio Glad you're having a good day, hope your husband is also. Dale is outside all the time and I seldom know exactly where he is. He could have laid there for a long time before I would think to go looking for him.

As long as I put my two pillow toppers, I'll be fine, lol. That bed was a labor of love, for sure.
