It's been seven years

Since I got married.
How time flies.
No dinner plans for tonight as far as I know.
My mom made us borscht, curry chicken, and baked chicken wings and drumsticks.
And we have some Pinot Noir wine left over from our Saturday dinner at a nearby steakhouse.
There are also some yummy baked treats from Aldi my mom got us.
Guess that will be our dinner.
I may have to make some rice for the curry chicken though.
And maybe a cabbage salad.

Thank you! I wish our dining table was not such a mess. With the kitchen renovations there is hardly any room to eat on it. Lots of stuff everywhere.

The food was great. I wasn't thrilled about having the news on during dinner and listening to politics. But hubby does that all the time.

I'd have preferred to go out as our living room is a mess and our dining table is filled with lots of bags and things from the kitchen. Very little space to put plates and eat. But that didn't happen.

@LadyDuck The contractor finally put the fridge in its spot and connected it to the waterline. Now he has to hook up the dishwasher and put up the microwave. And once the countertop is installed he needs to connect the sink and dishwasher to the water supply. And then he has to do the backsplash though we haven't bought it yet. Oh, and the kitchen cabinet people dirtied and in some spots damaged the ceiling so he has to take care of that.

I spent the (anniversary) day at home lol. First the contractor came at 9am and left around 1pm. And then I was by myself all afternoon sitting in the cluttered living room. Didn't even go outside. And then hubby came home from work with a beautiful bouquet and we had dinner, while he listened to politics.

Thank you! Not the best celebration, sitting at home at the dining table with hardly any room for stuff on it as it's cluttered with kitchen things. Not much room for our plates. And hubby watching political news. But food was good. My mom is a great cook.
