Leticia has become a pro in soap opera watching. She seems to have seen all of them and she can even tell what happened before. At night, she watches a Turkish soap opera with a very handsome young man in the lead role. She has explained to me who is who and I think that when I go back to my home I´ll continue to watch it. Are you watching any soap operas? have you ever watched one?

@wolfgirl569 Mom had to watch a soap at noon, when we were all sitting around the table for lunch. That was something I could not stand.

I don't watch television anymore and haven't in.... about 20 years, maybe? Not sure when Big Brother started... We watched a few episodes and I was so disgusted that I turned the television off and never turned it back on to watch television. We just used it with the DVD player or Pretty uses it for her gaming. And, no, soap operas never interested me. I'm glad you're enjoying them, though.

@sallypup I don't remember, honestly... When the producers kept insisting the show wasn't rehearsed and the people acted like... well, you know... I told Pretty real people didn't act like that and shut the television off. I don't even take my phone online... Well, I've used it once to post here about Pretty when she was in the hospital and I didn't want people to think I was ignoring them. I was too worried to do more than post that discussion that night and talk with Pretty while we were waiting for the doctors to do something.

@DaddyEvil Were there cameras in the Big Brother show's bathrooms? Maybe I'm not remembering right. Its Youtube or bust for me. No TV in my house and no smart phone to cheat from either..

I watch General Hospital because of one actor on the show who has one of my health problems, and is successful despite of how much it bothers him. He gets the best stories. Although, I haven’t watched it regularly in sometime.

The shows I have liked were those forensic shows. Once in a while they have a rerun marathon of them here.

@marguicha Do you watch the documentary style real ones or just the scripted ones? Forensic Files is one of my favorites.

@AmbiePam I like Forensic Files, and the way they dig to get to the bottom of the crime.

I use to watch soap operas but since getting with my boyfriend I do not watch them. It is deer hunting season here so the last couple of days I have been trying to watch one of the ones I use to watch and I can’t get into it because I have not watched it in so long. One of the ones I use to watch is no longer on television they put it on one of those streaming services and we don’t do those.

@marguicha My boyfriend will put on a movie and fall asleep many times but at least he can go back to the last spot he remembered and start watching it again and hopefully make it through it

@LadyDuck Maybe if I saw again some of the TV shows I used to watch they would be too naive now.

I have watched and liked maybe 2 in my lifetime. The first one I was was one where I had to wait about 6 months before the main lead actor gave the actress the first kiss.

I just detest soap operas with a passion. They are just too fake for me. You can watch my share, as well. I don't like Hallmark movies, especially the Christmas ones. There is always a lonely man or woman, had lost a spouse or significant other, meets up with a person they can't imagine themselves with. They both think it won't work but somehow it does, the snow is softly falling in huge flakes, pine trees and Christmas stuff everywhere. Then everyone loves everyone, the snow continues to sift down, all is well, the end. Yep, that's how it goes!

I never watch soap operas and agree with you. But Leticia either listens to music so loud that I fear that the glasses will crash or watches soap operas. I told her that my ears could not accept so much noise but I had to accept soap operas. And she explains to me who is who and what they have done As for movies, I prefer to watch more than once a good movie than to watch a bad one.

@wolfgirl569 Everyone who knows me well, knows I can be sappy and emotional at times. That's just part of who I am. But Hallmark movies are so, so fake it makes me want to be sick. They seem to be geared for girls ages 13-17 or so..not adults.

@marguicha .......I remember. And then Friday is full of excitement but you haven't to wait until the next week to see what happens again. Cliff hangers are frustrating.

I have only watched a couple of soap operas during my lifetime. I forget to turn on the TV at the right time. Not that you miss much: it takes ages for something to happen.
