First of all, Happy Thanksgiving to all our American members. Gobble, gobble 'till you waddle! Have a wonderful time with your family and friends. What will you be doing today??? Peru has lost 56% of its tropical glaciers in the last 6 decades. This translates to less drinking water for 20 million people who benefit directly or indirectly from the water from the glaciers. The melting ice has formed lagoons at an altitude of 4,000 to 5,000 meters. The lagoons could be a source of drinking water; but they are at a high altitude and at a risk of overflowing and flooding. 117 days until spring. Breakfast - Protein bar Lunch - Meals on Wheels - Turkey, dressing, sweet potatoes, green beans, cranberry juice Dessert/Snack - Chocolate muffin Dinner - Protein bar What did you eat yesterday? @LindaOHio Thank you! I cooked everything yesterday since I got the RSV vaccination... At least I didn't get sick to my stomach this time. But it does hurt to type.

Yeah, glaciers all over the world seem to be melting. They've found the frozen remains of the mammoth and even some of our ancestors, I wonder if the situation that caused them to freeze like that could happen again.

Happy Thanksgiving to you too, Linda! Yesterday, I had egg muffins with sausage and Gouda and cheddar cheese, orange sherbet, a spinach egg white muffin (trying something new), and carrots.

That's bad about the glaciers. Yesterday, I ate very little and made the scale happy this morning. Today, I ate a wonderful Thanksgiving meal. I think I'll gain back what I lost today. We'll see. I added in all the calories for all the sides and the turkey. It was fewer calories than I expected.

@LindaOHio The scale doesn't know it's not supposed to count holiday calories.

@just4him There's an idea for an invention. A scale that doesn't respond to holiday calories. lololol

I don't count calories on holidays. You only live once; and I'm at the age when I feel I've earned the right to enjoy myself. Yes, I know it will read on the scale!!!

I don't think anyone can still deny global warming. I hadn't heard of 'gobble gobble till you waddle'. That's pretty clever.

There are those that think it's the media just looking for readers or watchers of their publications and TV stations.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family as well, m'lady Linda. Off in a bit to my sister's house for turkey and ham and all the other fixings. For dinner last night I made up some makeshift Salisbury steak. Nothing fancy. Just a couple of hamburger patties that I slathered some actual Salisbury steak gravy leftover from our last On-Cor meal onto. Had tater tots dipped in ketchup on the side with some buttered kernel corn.
