11/27/23 - Meals

I hope you can still get a discount on a TV. My mom had to buy a new stove and also a new dishwasher. We went Saturday to the store. With a 5-year warranty for each appliance, it came out to $2500 or somewhere in that range. Our contractor will install both, so hopefully she will save money on installation.

I really am sorry your TV went kaput; no one needs that expense. Lou is right about some places still having sales today online. Yesterday, I had ham, deviled eggs, chicken tikka masala, egg muffins with spinach, and a little bit of popcorn.

Maybe you're better off without it.LOL Can't buy too much.

Yesterday was CTS for lunch and the rest of that tomato basil/chili tomato/rice soup for dinner. And pears!!!

I am sorry your TV gave up. I have noticed that online stores are continuing the Cyber Monday sales until Friday.

Two things: 1) Your tv picked the right time of year to die, since there are tons of Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals still available; and 2) Consider yourself lucky to get 11 years out of your tv. They’re just not designed to last that long anymore

Gosh. That is an entirely ironic occurrence of events. Hmm. I bet you could have gotten a pretty good deal. Weird how a TV would just die, hey? Hopefully you can still get a pretty good deal on a new one. For dinner it was just a leftover night and we're not done yet working through some of this stuff. This usually takes the better part of a week and a half or so to really get down to the nitty gritty which is a double edged sword of sorts. You love that you have plenty of food to eat and don't have to necessarily cook as many new meals. At the same time, you get really sick and tired of the same leftovers day in and day out. But not a single ounce will go to waste. Rest assured about that.

This is a good time of the year to have to buy a TV, although it would have been better if it broke Black Friday or Cyber Monday. I was just saying how much I liked veggie lasagna. I prefer that over regular really.

Hopefully the pre-Christmas sales will start soon and you can get a deal on a replacement television. The sales are on until towards the end of the week here this week, and it wasn't even our Thanksgiving. I made quarter chicken pieces and did potatoes in the instant pot last night for supper, we had frozen sweet corn for a vegetable.

Hi LindaOh, I would like to know - the protein bar you had - what was the size of protein bar? ( here they comes like - 10g Protein bar, 16g Protein bar, 32g Protein Bar like that ) what are the content of it ? And is it enough for a body? You are having it based on doc prescription?

I will be honest. I don't remember. 112 days until spring aren't a lot of days. It's good that you count them. I hate winter and snow and it seems like you hate them too.
