I didn't post a discussion yesterday, because I didn't know what to say. I was unable to see George, despite trying to reach someone. So yesterday I was literally worried sick for his safety. I did get permission to see him today, and they had him in a chair.... but still claim he's to critical to leave ISC (the stroke side of ICU), anytime soon. Claims of his heart rate not being controlled, and requiring to much oxygen (despite being on less than what I saw him two days ago.) So, I don't know.
On an interesting note, when I got home, I discovered a box from 1800 Flowers. It was written as Mr and Mrs Serfass (so whoever sent it kept it simple or doesn't know I kept my last name.)

That was nice. You should try to pop in though..once a day..so we mylotters aren't alarmed. I really think you should get some help with this though..maybe from the social worker or whomever they have available.

The hospital people are showing queer behavior. On the one hand they have kept him on the wheel chair and want him to stay in the ICU. Can he talk now?

He can talk. His voice isn't as loud, and he can be hard to understand. Depending on the time he's assessed, it varies on how well he responds to questions.

Oh, I am glad you got to see him, but I am certainly hoping someone can help lead you through this mess they have made for you. Can you maybe get to speak to one of his doctors, sometime soon? ICU often seems to either have nurses that tell you either more than you want to know, or nothing at all when you need to know what's happening.
Glad you got flowers, no matter what. I hope he improves more every day, Kayla.
