I forgot to tell you that my new TV was delivered on Friday. So nice not to have to share with hubby...and I don't have to walk so far to the bathroom! lol
Hubs was coming home from a show Saturday and got lost. He tried to drive in the dark; but the oncoming lights, etc. were too bad so he checked into a motel. I told him to check the phone book in the room so that he'd know where he was. He ended up in Mercer, ***PA***. He knew he was too far east; but he had no idea he had gone into Pennsylvania! He could use some prayers to find his way in the morning! Thank you. I can't wait until he gets home. Aside from missing him, my water jug is empty; and I'm hungry!

Congrats on your having a new TV set. My very old TV set was repaired and is now back to normal. However, we give it our mother in law. My youngest daughter has bought a new TV set.

That driving in the dark can be concerning. At least he stopped and was safe.

You must be so worried. Does he not have navigation on his cell phone? I wouldn’t be able to get anywhere without mine I have a horrible sense of direction. When I get to areas where I don’t have cell service I can usually bring up the map on maps or my geocaching app and just keep looking at what roads are coming up and what ones I need to take and find my way then. It is a much slower and more frustrating process then being able to just have my phone pick the fastest route to drive and follow it.

I guess he was real lost. we go past Mercer when weI go up to Erie for visiting. We were heading back home one time from PSU and got stuck behind a semi trucked jacknifed across 79 there. This was in the winter and it was cold. There was a 4 hour delay. We walked to a nearby restaurant, and had some lunch.

I had BBQ chicken (Jack Daniels sauce…which is too syrupy and sweet for my taste) sandwiches for lunch, then finished off the chicken on top of a baked potato for dinner. Plus fruit cocktail!!!!
Does your hubby have a cell phone? He needs one, just to use the GPS function!

We have basic flip phones. Is Mutts in the daily paper? I get a digital version of the paper every day. Don't know that I've ever seen Mutts.

Oh my goodness, I hope your husband can find his way home today.
My husband was lost this morning. I told him to wait me in the car while I collect his magazines in Italy. He went out to have a look around and he got lost. I am glad he found a kind woman who accompanied him to the parking.

Aw, bless him! I hope he's home safely by now. We don't drive at night unless we have no choice. Everything looks so different at night and the oncoming car lights are horrendous.

@LindaOHio It's so dangerous to drive after dark when we don't see well in the oncoming bright car lights. We don't drive at night unless it's unavoidable.

This is extremely concerning. I do hope he arrives at home safely ASAP or that he has already. I am so sorry this happened. The hotel thing was a good idea, for sure.

Congrats on getting the TV and enjoy it. That was some adventure for your hubby, I hope he gets home safe and sound, Just got my groceries yesterday, and with a full fridge and no one to cook for me I stood there thinking I have nothing to eat Then I heated up some cheeseburger sliders and later had seasoned fries and some kielbasa, I hope you have a great new week,

It's very terrible to get lost in the way. That's a very rough experience ever to experience. I am very glad that he managed to find the way at long last.
