Judge attacked by MAGA maniac?

I just stumbled across this video about a case in Nevada where a MAGA maniac attacked a judge, literally jumping over the podium, or whatever it's called, to wrestle her to the ground.
Fortunately, security intervened, and the judge was not seriously injured.
Wait. You say you think he might not be a MAGA maniac? You think he's a common criminal? Let me do some more research.
OK, you were right.
Never mind.
I suggest putting this fella in the same cell as Donald Trump, and turning their intellectual discussions (and other interactions) into a Reality Show. Do you think it would sell?
Reality Show Idea Copyright The Horse 2024.
Court cameras caught the extraordinary moment Wednesday when a felon who was about to be sentenced for a violent crime leaped over the bench and assaulted a judge in Las Vegas.

@2ndchances24 I was kidding. That's why I used a laughy face. I am not really going to start a reality show.

Yawn. Sounds like just another year to me. Urban thugs will steal sneakers when criminals are injured in police custody. MAGA idiots will storm the Capitol when Trump loses another election. Does anyone truly appreciate who we REALLY have to fear? Now I am reading that opponents are trying to claim that @LindaOH has ties with these vicious people.

I feel as Lenore does--we truly are a powder keg. It's not just another year. It's our future as a country.

@TheHorse I wish I could yawn. Last year a MAGA woman threatened me- honking at me as I drove into a park, following too close, intimidation. Yes I have a Democrat sticker on my car's bumper. That gave her no right to bully me. Our country is at risk. Its a good time to attempt to be kind, to keep an eye out on our neighbors and duck. I am deeply worried.

I saw that other day and whole thing was how did it get that far? Judge needs better security. I am glad she did not get hurt. Maybe the shock of it all made it sound worse, but I thought she was seriously hurt crying for help like that.

@TheHorse Indeed, I am telling you Trump and his people get different rules from non Trump people.

@crossbones27 What drives me nuts is that you or I would "do time" for the stuff that Trump AND these crazed "blue collar" career criminals do.

SIGH perhaps you have the right idea but those two with their screw loose will probably wind up killing each other but then that would be no loss would it?

@TheHorse I can accept (without understanding them at all) people so different from me as the North Koreans. But it is harder to accept some things from people that seem so similar to me as culture goes. I feel that the world is going mad.

@marguicha I feel that way too. And yet, in my day-to-day life, most people are "nice." I think we've gotten lazy overall. So many people do not read. And many are not open to changing their views when information refutes what they had thought. I want to blame the internet. But I remember my parents blaming TV for the same kind of thing.

@TheHorse I added an s "The Big Brother". It is an American television reality competition show, where people "spy" a group of contestants who are closed inside a house and they are supposed to live their normale life as no one was watching them.

If the man attacked the judge I don't think he will behave well in a reality show. Moreover hasty people can never participate in intellectual discussions.

It's called the 'bench', even though it isn't a bench at all but a high desk... behind which the judge sits in a comfy chair... isn't English wonderful?

Judges always face that risk. That is why the rich and powerful get away with lesser punishment and so too the poor. The rich and powerful can use muscle power. The poor have nothing to lose. It is the unfortunate middle class folks like us, who have to suffer maximum punishment because somewhere the law needs to prevail.

I saw that video. But I didn't know the criminal is a MAGA supporter.

@TheHorse like it! Let me know when you're heading to LA again. My Lear jet is undergoing "maintenance" yet again. I know I've sent you this song before, but I can't get it out of my head this morning.
--------------That is an especially good version of it. I love live performances the best.

I read accounts on several news outlets and nowhere did I see anything about him being a Trump supporter. People just make this stuff up because they hate Trump. They need to stick to the truth.

Um, Vicki. I was being ironic. Did you miss that? I was poking fun at Liberals who seem to think that MAGA idiots commit more violent crime than apolitical unread thugs. I do not agree with the teachings of White Supremacists, but they probably commit less violent crime per capita than your average thug.
