Cats Are Funny To Me

Cats are funny to me. Grayson is no exception. He is a card, that cat, let me tell you. Here I am making dinner and Grayson plops himself down and just sits and waits, knowing he is going to get some special food when the wifey and I sit down to eat. I mean, how can you resist that face, right? After he eats his meal and I am relaxed in my chair, he will be right in my lap as always. He always makes his way to my lap. Dawn, my wife, calls him my BFF. Or me his BFF. I can't deny he has taken to me for whatever reason and generally gravitates to me. He will have his little meal and then find his way to my lap and then sleep there until I finally make my way to bed myself. He's a great cat and it is always funny to me that when he first came to our house, he hid and didn't want to come out. Now he has embedded himself right into our lives. lol Hungry Grayson?

you better be careful wife might get jelouse ha ha ha hubby has a dog the same way she belongs to him cause when she want's out she waits for him to open the door, if I go to let her out she'll go to her bed.

You have a lovely cat. I'm glad you feed him and carry him. Many cats in my estate are stray cats. Their owners always get tired of cats and abandon them.

We have quite a few stray cats in the area as well. Part of it is owners either abandon them or let them roam outside, and of course, they breed. lol. Ours are inside cats and I intend to keep it that way.

That happens from time to time as well. lol. It's funny, they get into trends. Lately their trend has been not to sleep in the bed with us. But that will change soon enough. It always does.

He really is. He's a great cat. I mean, I admit to being probably just a wee bit biased. But he really is a good, happy cat. He brings a lot of joy to our lives. Cal does too. I don't want to leave him out, and I really should post more about him. Grayson just tends to steal the show for whatever reason.

Nothing better than having a kitty bff. Grayson was as our two sweet girls were, hid when they first came to us. But once they relaxed they were our shadows.

I still think the picture of little Grayson hiding behind the washer and dryer when we first got him is one of the cutest pictures of him ever. Just that innocent, scared look on his face. lol

One of our former cats, Sneaky, could have a bit of a mean streak. Not all the time. But sometimes. Neither of the two we have now have mean streaks.

They certainly do need room to roam, that's for sure. Especially when they get a burst of energy. As someone here on myLot put it once, although I forget who that was, they get the "zoomies."
