Two Waddlers

Finally, the snow had all melted. The grass was green again and the water in the pond no longer frozen. She looked at me and I at her and we decided to go waddling across the green, green grass. Birds were singing melodies in the trees above and I knew a new spring had come again.
Just a little story to remind you that spring is not far away now. Along with a photo to make you smile of two ducks that look like they are taking a walk. This was taken in one of my favorite parks in Riga, Latvia.

@MelissaAnn the only problem we have here in Florida is that can get rather cold during the winter, then warm up during the spring, and finally we are roasting in the summer, I would like much more even temps,

@RasmaSandra I would like more even temps here too. We have -5 to 30 degree winters usually and spring it really doesn't usually start warming up until mid April or Early May and then it's about 60 or 65 Then by August its about 80 or 90 but very humid. The weather we are having this week is very usual for us.

Sounds like a nice springy day. We have many parks and a greenbelt.

@celticeagle most of the parks in Riga on the city side and the suburbs are full of ducks, and some geese, and gulls join them all year round, I love watching them,

@JudyEv thank you, I would even go to some of the parks in the winter and feed the ducks, They were very patient waiting for the ponds and streams to thaw,

At their last house my daughter had a pair of mallards that would fly into their suburban back yard to eat at the bird feeder.
