While I read your posts. It is very hot here. Today I finishe the black beans at lunch time and I can only have ice cream as a dessert. Gone are the days when I bought chocolate cake. It is much too hot to eat that now. It is possible, not sure, that my shopper friend will take me to the supermarket this evening. There were many things that the last time I shopped online they brought something else. And now that my old shoppers belong to the Uber Eats chain, the page to write that they brought something else "cannot be found". It is even in English, not even in my native language. So for me this is the end of that. If Angélica cannot take me, I can ask for a taxi (we have other cabs that are not Uber and in fact are less expensive). I cannot afford to have to use food that I don´t want. The list is already written but I will check it again. There is an evil elf that deletes part of what I have written

I hate it when that happens. I also dislike not being able to pick my produce. I haven't had an avocado for months for this reason.

I had to throw a whole kilo of avocados for this reason. And they are not cheap. Now I´ll buy them myself.

I know what you mean, a person has to buy the foods they can use, substitutes are not always what we want or need. I hope Angelica can take you there, I'm sure that's easier than getting a cab or Uber. That evil elf lives here, too.

It would be annoying to find grocery items that you didn't ask for - or the wrong brand. I'm sure they will lose more customers than just you.

There are other companies here besides the Uber. In fact, I say Uber here so that I´m understood, but I use one called Cabify.
