Roscoe is one really expressive pup, the look you see in the photo is one I see at least 3 times a day ...... usually it's when I call him and he just doesn't want to come in. I suppose this is what they mean by attitude, right? Just listened to Duane Eddy and thought you might like this too.

I feel like he is thinking aw Mom, it is too early to come in now. Of course we'll never know, but that expression seems to say that to me.

He really has a way with that guitar, I could listen to him all day and I'm not really that much into music anymore. He is a character, he won't come when I call unless he thinks I'm going to feed him .... he's been training me.

That's a great photo. With that expression and the harness, he could be a sentient being from another planet not liking the state of affairs here on earth, where he would be considered "only a dog". "Of all the planets I could have landed on..." I've always liked Ghost Riders in the Sky but listening to this rendition, I wanted to slap everyone in the audience and half the orchestra. And that announcer! "Duh-wayne Eddy" Really...

Oh yes. He only comes in willingly if he wants to but if I need him to come in he makes me chase him around the yard ...... I swear he even laughs at me but I have yet to capture that in an image.

I know he laughs at you because my cat does the same. I call him, he stares at me as he was thinking "what do you want human?" and does not move, as I get closer he runs away.

I think the most famous version is by Johnny Cash but it's been covered by tons of singers. The thing I really like is that no one is singing, I prefer instrumentals like this.

As a kid I can relate to Roscoe's attitude. Guess he was having a chill time. I remember my mom calling us for dinner right in the middle of playing a baseball or football game in the yard. I didn't want to come in either.

Is that a harness on Roscoe's back?

Yes, he's like a 10 year old that's having too much fun to come in for anything ........ of course these days it's more like mom's trying to pry kids from their computers. Yes, he wears that harness in case he does actually dig under the fence to visit the neighbor GSDs, thankfully that hasn't happened for a while, I'm hoping he's over that cuz he's over 3 yrs old ..... yeah yeah, don't hold my breath
