My unusual breakfast on this Super Bowl Sunday.

I bought some canned chili the other day at Safeway. I'm not sure why. I just did. But every time I think of opening it, I realize that I have several guitar and piano students later in the day.
Eating chili has gastro-intestinal consequences that are not suited to being in a tiny lesson room for several hours. I think I almost exploded once.
Today, I have no students. And if I watch the Super Bowl with friends, they will be beer-swilling friends who could care less if I fart uproariously and repeatedly.
Therefore, had canned chili for breakfast today. It was good. I may cook up an egg as a "coda," but my tummy is happy right now. (burp)
What did you have for breakfast today? Will you be watching the Super Bowl?

I'm busy pretending it doesn't exist. George bounces from going out to lying on the couch. Hopefully I can get him to eat something for a third day in a row.

@TheHorse Well, the eating is hit-or-miss and will (hopefully) improve with time. He wasn't that big on eating before the stroke. And, no, unless we're talking the Daytona 500. Not remotely interested.

@kaylachan Daytona 500? Is that where cars go around and around and some people watch them go around and around?

THANK YOU FOR BEING SO HONEST!!!! The one time I sat in pure misery was when I was flying to Thailand. Mom decided to cook up a batch of beans, and when you're on a LONG flight beans and flying in a closed compartment don't mix. The big minus was I was up towards the back of First Class so it was a long walk back to the bathroom just to release the gas. And, by the time I got there it was more like a sonic boom than a lady-like fart. About two hours into the flight one of the men asked me what I had for dinner. I was honest and he offered one of the other passengers $20 if they would trade places with him. They happily accepted until I made my pilgrimage back to the bathroom, or should I call it the "bathboom"?
I didn't do breakfast, I have a homeless gentleman that I am helping. Hopefully he can get into someplace by Tuesday night. Monday is a holiday, so he's kind of up a creek with getting governmental help.
If I can find it on my TV I'll watch some of it. Now that I think of your cooking up an egg, I may hard boil a few for a egg salad sandwich. Thanks for the idea.

@TheHorse He ended up leaving the home he was in after the guys there got busy and beat the daylights out of him and stole much of his belongings.
I just contacted the housing authority and am seeing if they can help the man out. I spoke to one of his remaining relatives and she informed me that he needs more than just a "home", he needs to be monitored to make sure he takes his medications and so forth. It's tough that tomorrow is a holiday!!!!
Oh, by the way, you're going to have to go a LONG WAY to out fart my father!!! My mom farted one day and the dog raced to the door, "Daddy's home" was his whole stance. He stood at the door a good 5 minutes and father didn't come in--tat dog was really disappointed!

Canned chili looks so disgusting. It’s gloppy. I tasted it a few times. I just make homemade, we eat it for two meals and whatever is left gets frozen in individual portions for a fast grab meal. I honestly think no it is just worth the effort to make it.

@MarieCoyle I am not THAT big a fan of chili, though. I just get a taste for it about once a year.

Truly is totally worth it to make your own. Even if you are lazy, you can throw chili together!

I had two sausage patties between two pieces of whole wheat toast, spread with mustard. Small glass of grapefruit juice. A heart shaped truffle or something at church.

I had a banana. We have chili about once every two weeks or so. I like almost any dish with beans in it except black beans. Maybe this is why I don't have many friends coming over.![](/Content/images/emotes/lol.gif)

I had a bean burrito, so not much better. They all 49ers fans, lets me fart on them if they win. I am only Chiefs fan. ![](/Content/images/emotes/rofl.gif)

@TheHorse Best of luck buddy, think it will be heart attack central either way. I try to downplay my disappoint if they lose but you really can't . You end up getting so emotionally involved in it if they doing it right. ![](/Content/images/emotes/cheering.gif)

I had wheat Chex cereal and coffee for breakfast. I don't have much interest in the Super Bowl. But, my son does. So, he will have the TV on. I will just do my housework and listen to it in the background.

You always make me laugh. I had a PB&J sandwich. I watched about half of the Super Bowl, including the exciting ending. Have a good week.
