My little shopper came to see me today.

She told me that she did not come a few days ago because she had had a fall and hit her head. Those hits are potencially very dangerous and during my life I have heard many people falling that way.
Even I fell like that on Chriistmas at Tania´s house. But all the adrenaline I had in my body told me that whatever happened I should not hit my head. And I didn´t. The next day I had some pain in my arms but I did not hit my head.
Angélica took me first to the butcher´s but it was already closed. And later on we went to the supermarket where I bought a few things for a lovely tea-dinner time we had together later on.
Her father is very ill and she needed a shoulder to cry so I offered mine

I'm so glad you were able to spend time together. I am sorry she had a fall. No one wants to fall and hit their head, I know that. I am sure she values your friendship and wanted to let you know why she didn't come when she said she would. She sounds like a very nice lady.
There's just nothing like a visit with a friend.

And we had a nice meal that looked like it was a birthday party. I bought a delicious avocado and had ham and cheese.

Sounds delicious to me. I have been hungry for baked ham lately. But they are not on sale here, I don't have one in my freezer, and I can wait until they are on sale again.

I'm sorry she fell and hit her head. I agree with you, it is dangerous when you hit your head.
I'm glad she could take you shopping, and you could get a few things for your tea-dinner.
I'm sorry her father is ill. I'm glad you gave her a shoulder to cry on.

She is in need of someone. She came from the south where she has lived all her life to take care of her old and blind father who has another wife (not her mother).
