Bitty treated me to a "socker" match last night.
I wear socks to work everyday. End of the day I often take them off, roll them, and put them in the hamper when I head to bed.
Bitty found my rolled socks last night, and proceeded to beat them half to death. She would throw them and roll them and kick them and carry them all around one corner of the living room.
Until I took them back.
I really do not need her to steal them from me.
This morning she reminded me, she likes an occasional lick of peanut butter, because I had just had a spoonful.
I read up, and it is safe for cats as long as they do not eat peanut butter to the point of excluding better animal protein foods. Since she cannot open the jar there is no danger of that.
I am so easily entertained.

In the daytime I am likely to find the cats sleeping, at night they get lively.

@rebelann Bruno is more calm than Bitty. I think they are both spoiled by having us here.

Cats can be pretty entertaining when they want to be. Nico has finally deigned to eat some leftover food from last night without demanding more. Maybe that will keep him happy.

Cats definitely are entertaining. I give my dog a lick of peanut butter occasionally and it's quite entertaining watching her eat it. It almost looks like she's chewing gum

Bitty likes peanut butter. It is interesting to see them try to swallow it.

I actually stuff mismatched socks with catnip. That is fun as well.

@GardenGerty I wish we still had our dogs. I had one that used to love to sleep on my lap.

@GardenGerty For sure. Every creature on the planet, including humans, are not the same. I live with three felines.

We had a Siamese that would retrieve rolled up socks, bring them to you, drop them at your feet and wait for you to toss them again. When she got tired of playing fetch she would jump on the back of the couch, with the sock, and sleep with it. We had to play that game every night. Of course the sock was hers, she didn't get to get into our socks.
It was hysterical when she had kittens. When the kittens were old enough to get out of the bed and roam around Mama was kept busy retrieving them and hauling them back to the bed. That was when they were about 4 weeks old. The first day she about dropped from exhaustion. She finally gave in and let them roam around but it was so funny watching her collect and carry 6 kittens back to the bed the first day they wandered.

I had a kitty that had a red rubber ball, like a Jacks ball. We moved back home while hubs was out to sea for about a year. My dad had tomato plants indoors and the fruit was that size.Cats are colorblind, so as they just barely began to turn, she would remove them to play with.

Every cat shows its love to us in different ways. Every cat is unique. A cat relieves loneliness as it plays with you,
