Friday Morning Brief

There see? I know what day it is. Friday, not Saturday like it feels like.
Good morning from snowy, beautiful Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. I know I'm not the only one here who loves snow, but I might be close to the only one who likes it in spring. I'm speaking about physically here where I live.
Okay, so the plans for the day are simple because it will be a quiet day.
I asked my neighbor yesterday if I could tag along the next time they went grocery shopping. I only needed two things and two things is what I got last night when they surprised me by going shopping then instead of waiting, but that is because it's snowing. Imagine that. 
That means I have bananas. I also wanted to try the new cereal my friend on third floor introduced me to. Pick N Save had it. I also found out when my leg o lamb would be in. Next Friday. Good Friday. I'll have it in plenty of time for Easter.
So, with shopping done, it means I only have my steps, books, and notifications to do today. I also did the laundry this morning. I thought it was only four days since the last time I did laundry. It was six. I waited too long. I have the heater on in the bathroom drying a couple of sweaters that didn't get completely dry along with the towels.
I've had breakfast. The new cereal, Kashi Go Cinnamon Crisp is delicious. So, now before it gets too late and the trees start to lose the snow on them, I'm going to walk through the building and get my steps. I will be back to finish the notifications.

Sounds like good plans for the day. That's good you liked the cereal. I have heard of that brand but never tried it myself.

Horse would be very happy with the snow pictures!!
At a max nearing 33 C, it looks exciting to see a place receiving snow.
A busy weekend day with Laundry wash and drying, some Grocery buying and other shopping and tasks.
A few bitter things are causing some stress.
I know that I will have to bear a few things and move forward.
The new Cereal sounds tasty and interesting.
We go for Kellogg's and Bagry's and sometimes a few others.

Yes, @TheHorse is happy with my snow pictures. He was afraid there wouldn't be any more with the advent of Spring. Now, I have plenty to make him happy.
33C is much too warm. It sounds like you have a very busy weekend.
I'm sorry you're having stress in your life right now.
It is very good. I'll be buying it from now on along with my other fiber rich cereals.

I'm glad you found a new cereal you like.
I like doing my laundry frequently. I would prefer to wash few clothes three times a week than to wash clothes for an entire week. I think it's because I wash by hand.
The photo you shared is beautiful. The snow on the furniture looks good.

@mildredtabitha Yes, it is a good price. If I took it to the laundromat, it would cost a lot more. I couldn't wash and dry for less than $8.

@just4him A price of around $2 is still a good price. Here, they charge $5 to wash a bucket of clothes. (The big laundry basket with holes in it) and they charge $7 or $10 for washing blankets and duvets.

@just4him I look forward. Funny. I have this old Jesse Winchester song playing in my mind now. Looking at your picture made me think of listening to it with my girlfriend Melissa (in Iowa) and watching the snow come down.

It's so handy to have some way of drying clothes indoors. If we have the heater on in the winter, I can put items on the clothes rack in the lounge and they mostly dry easily overnight. We don't leave the heater on overnight but it's warm enough to finish off the drying process.

We got snow last night, probably about two inches at the most. Driving isn't too bad, I just go slower.
I'm glad you got your couple things, from the grocery store. Kashi Cinnamon Crisp cereal is excellent!
I've never had lamb before. They used to serve it a year ago in Arby's, a sandwich that Jay ordered.

@just4him The sandwiches were a choice, between sliced ham, sliced chicken and slice lamb. They were only available for a short while, like most of their specials.

What could be better than it being Friday and snow and bananas and your Kashi cereal. 
I like cereal but always forget about Kashi when I shop. Since I do most of my shopping online and either do delivery or pick-up I don't browse the aisles any more. Your Kashi sounds really good and I'll have to see if my local store sells it.
