And then I called Dixie to ask for her tummy (she is in her second week of tummy problems) and she asked ME if I was eating enough proteins. She knows "apparently" about nutrition. But I had to remind her that eggs, cheese and milk are also good sources of proteins. What I did not tell her was that SHE might have some problems as she is vegetarian. I don´t have any problem with proteins as I´m an omelette addict. I can make an omelette with just about anything. Two days ago I made a Spanish tortilla. And it was as delicious as the much more expensive trout I made yesterday for Leticia. Fried onions as an ingrediend for a dish can turn any normal food into a delicacy. How was your wekend? Are you full of chocolate eggs?

I am full of homemade cinnamon rolls. I did eat a Cadbury creme egg, though. If both you eat beans plus cheese and eggs you should be okay on protein. Plus broccoli has some protein.

I love cinnamon rolls. I know that I don´t have to kill a cow to have enough protein. And I´m not a vegetarian although some days I don´t eat meat.

I agree that fried onions add a lot of taste and flavour to any dish. I am a vegetarian, but I do great on my blood tests with no deficiency. I eat a lot of vegetarian protein. And yes, I take eggs regularly. I have included eggs along with my vegetarian diet.

@story07 I had a chocolate Valentine's heart the other day and it still cost me over a dollar. The stores are getting stickier with their profits.

I love eggs and omelets! I can have them any day. When I suddenly feel hungry in the middle of the night, omelet is the something that I'd usually make.

Eggs are a great source of protein, I love omelettes too. But no one else in the family eats omelettes, they prefer boiled eggs.

You do eat good. Unless she eats a lot of beans that could be some of her trouble.

No chocolate eggs for me but I didn't indulge in those marshmallow Peeps. Eggs are a very good source of protein and omelets are very versatile.

I love a good omelet too. Surprisingly, I didn't have any chocolate yesterday. I thought about it, but I was overstuffed from dinner. I hope you had a wonderful Easter.

I'm full of jelly beans...my favorite. I hope you have a good week. Has Dixie seen someone about her stomach issues?

Oh, I can totally relate to your love for omelettes! They're such a versatile and satisfying dish. But you know what's funny? Despite being an omelette addict, eggs tend to cause me stomach acidity, so I have to be a bit careful with them. As for chocolate eggs, unfortunately, they're not my cup of tea either, but I hope you enjoyed indulging in them over the weekend!

Spanish tortilla sounds good. I had buffet lunch with family to celebrate Easter over the weekend.

Vegetarians have plenty of tummy problems, bloating, gas, cramps and they lack several vitamins and minerals. Eggs are an excellent source of protein, as well as lentils. No chocolate eggs this year for us.
