Happy Tuesday Everyone! day two of a week of rain here. Just for more excitement, thunderstorms are possible. What better way to spend a rainy day than shopping.
I love Bath & Body Works and we're running low on hand soap. Lucky me as they're having a sale. I used to buy cheap soap for the bathrooms but they didn't last long and really made my hands dry.
I don't remember how I got hooked on Bath & Body Works. Maybe someone gave me a gift? However it happened, I'm glad because now I spend a little more, but it lasts a heck of a lot longer so in the end it all works out about the same.
Aside from shopping I do have the usual stuff to do around the house. But, dreary rainy days aren't very motivating for getting stuff done.
Then there's the daily "what's for dinner" decision. I think I'm going to make meatloaf with mashed potatoes. Then we'll have leftovers for sandwiches.

Enjoy your sun! I'm sure it's a welcome sight from all that soggy rain you've been having.
Chicken nuggets and fries sound like a good idea for dinner. Aren't you tired of trying to come up with ideas every night? I am.

YES! After 53 years of cooking every day I am tired of inventing new ideas every day for lunch and dinner.

I hope you get some great soap! I need some hand soap too. I am going to buy several bottles next time I go out as I use a lot of them because of my severe OCD and I am getting low. I had bought a lot once and had a whole shelf full of them
I have no plans other than reading today.
For lunch and dinner, I will have stuffed cabbage (we also had pierogies) and ham. I went to my cousin's house for dinner for Easter and she gave me a nice amount of leftovers as I guess she knows I don't cook and appreciate anything that isn't a frozen meal or a sandwich with lunch meat

Usually I have a shelf full of hand soaps too but somehow we ran low. I wash my hands frequently and need a soap that doesn't make my hands so dry.

@LovesEverybody those Stephanie Plum books are on my favorite lists of books. I've read every one on the series and always look forward to her next book and Stephanie's next adventure.
I'm reading The Last Bookshop in London by Madeline Martin. It's really good and my first book by this author.

@Marilynda1225 Stephanie Plum's books are the best! Have you read the newest book? There was a major cliffhanger. The next Stephanie Plum book comes out on November 5, 2024. I cannot wait for it!
I finished the Stephanie Plum book I was rereading a few days ago and loved it!
The book you are reading sounds familiar but I don't think I have read it.
I stopped reading several books yesterday from my personal library as I couldn't get into them.
I started Kentucky Heat by Fern Michaels Friday night and so far it is pretty good. I think it may be part of a series if it is, I may have to go to the used book store and find the other book (s) in the series

You know who else has nice soap and lotion?...Williams Sonoma. I don't buy it regularly because it is expensive..but I like it. I think it might be drizzling out, but the rain wasn't supposed to come until this evening. Yesterday was a nice day here but it rained at night. Weds is a rain day here. At least we don't have the tornadoes like poor Amber.

@Marilynda1225 It is supposed to turn cold here for a couple of days, but not snow cold..just below average. I have some kind of designer soap sis got me now, but it is like the stuff you find at craft shows seems to be good quality though.

I would imagine that Williams Sonoma would have nice hand soap since everything they sell is high end, That's one of the best things about online shopping and browsing. I think sometime later I might just have to browse there.
I'm very happy we don/t have tornadoes like Amber or all the snow that Valerie is getting. I'll be happy with our week of rain.

I was thinking of stew for this bone chilling day but decided to go with meatloaf instead. I think the idea if a meatloaf sandwich tomorrow was what convinced me.
Sounds like our weather is similar

We had torrential rain last night; and today it has turned cold. We may get some wet s**w tomorrow. Yuck! Hope you have a good day.
