3 April - What I'm Thankful for Today

Good afternoon from cloudy Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. It's currently 35 F with melting snow. Nothing lasts forever, especially snow. But it's beautiful while it lasts.
Today was a good day.
I'm thankful for the sleep I got, seven hours. No nap needed today. Though I need to go to bed earlier than 10 PM. Getting up at 5:30 puts me so far behind, I feel like half the day is gone already when I get up so late.
I'm thankful for getting my steps this morning. I have two-thirds of them. I'll get the rest when I log off the computer.
I'm thankful for the work I did on Guns of War. I read it last night and made corrections from the suggestions made at the Zoom meeting. I read through the first chapter again with the corrections and it sounds good.
I'm thankful I found batteries for my standing clock. I looked over at it and saw it had stopped. It's two-sided and needed both batteries. It's all good now.
I'm thankful for the time I was here with you today. I love seeing what's happening in your world. I finished the notifications twice.
I'm thankful for good friends who bring tasty treats. A friend I play Canasta with brought me a slice of lemon meringue pie, my favorite. It was delicious!
Okay that's my day. I know I still need to bring you the health report. I'll give you a two-week report on Friday. What are you thankful for today? Thanks for reading. The image belongs to me.

George has found little projects to do here and there for the past few days. Spending less time on the couch and more time finding something to do. It's good to see. Puts me behind with his second tube feed of the day, but getting up at or close to 11 Am sets the whole day behind. I had no intention sticking to the hospital's feeding schedule. It's not pratical for our lifestyle. So I am thankful for that. I'm also thankful for today's rain. I'm also thankful Chilly has desserted my lap for George's.

@just4him That's true. I try to keep him on schedule, not to overwhelm his stomach, but to make sure he gets enough energy throughout the day.

Wow, this photo is from today? It sure is beautiful! I wish I could sleep through that many hours! Sounds like you had a wonderful day. Today I am thankful most things came into place today . . . I guess today was a good day here as well

@much2say I'm never amazed by it anymore. It happens a lot here. We don't get a lot, and because it's spring, it doesn't stay around long, but it's always nice to see.
Thank you. I've been getting a lot of sleep lately.

We might be getting a bit of snow tomorrow morning, but next week it's supposed to get into the sixties for a few days so the snow won't be here long. I'm thankful for that.
I'm thankful that after doing leg lifts from my recliner my leg that's been sore since December is doing much better.
I'm thankful I got my pension on Monday. I keep forgetting about it. I'm sure one day it won't be a surprise. I'm thankful I'm caught up on my bills and that nothing more is due until after I get my next ssc payment.

Oh, lemon pie! One of my very favorites!
I am glad my doctor appointment got changed to an online visual appointment. It was so nasty wet I was glad not to get out and about in that mess.

I am thankful I got my one laptop working after it was acting up. I renewed the virus protection for another year and got all three uploaded with the virus and working.
I will get caught up online tomorrow.
I did make three sales on ebay so that was good.

I'm thankful that I will get my mammogram over with today; and then we are going out to eat after the procedure. Tomorrow my husband's godson/cousin is taking me to see him. Have a good day.

Sounds like another good day. 5:30 is still really early! But I know you are usually up earlier than that. Even 6:40 for me is way too early to be up.
