9 April - What I'm Thankful for Today

Good afternoon from a breezy, warm day in Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. It's 54 F, which is the high for today. It's been a good day. I'm thankful for the Bible study this morning. The study was excellent. I'm thankful for my son's girlfriend who picked me up when I got home. She took me to Spectrum, but they couldn't lower the bill today because Spectrum is here today with a work order. As soon as it's completed, I can e-mail the gentleman I talked to today and he will get the bill straightened out. I'm thankful she took me to Hy-Vee when we finished at Spectrum. They had bacon wrapped sirloin on sale. I can tell you it was delicious. I just finished it. I also got a few other things and the milk. No bananas today. I'm thankful that after Hy-Vee we went to Game Stop where I got my son's birthday present. She's holding onto the receipt and will give it to him next week. He won't be picking up the game until August. It's a pre-order. She was a big help to me today and I'm very thankful for her. I'm thankful for the time I spent here with you today. I've finished the notifications twice. It's always fun to learn what's going on in your world. You're a huge part of my day. Okay, that's my day so far. I'm going to work on my book now and get my steps before I settle in front of the TV. I also need to deliver a birthday card to a gentleman who turned 97 today. He lives up on third floor.
