It is Wednesday again, so that means swimming. We have 22 more days of school. KIds are very "wound up" I shall make eggs for breakfast, and sausage. For swimming I always want high protein and sustained energy. I am keeping an eye on the forecast as I have taken some houseplants outside. The forecast has been revised and we will not dip down quite so close to freezing as they thought. Our little local garden center has at least one herb I want to buy. I want some lemon basil. Hope I can keep it alive all summer. Meanwhile, I have to get a move on. I will have to wake Bob in about forty five minutes. He did well yesterday with his treatment.

No, not long. These treatments are going to really benefit him, I think.

It sounds like a busy day for you. I wonder if lemongrass would grow in the one shady spot I have, I doubt it would in the sunny areas

I wonder if it would grow with the dry air we usually have, in summer the humidity if often less than 7%

Swim days are really not bad. I enjoy being in the water. It is just a lot of work getting the kiddo ready and then getting him dressed again.

@GardenGerty I'm sure it is hard. One of the last times I was in the locker room after my water exercise a woman was in there with her boy. He had issues but he was also at least 10 years old. There are a couple of outer change rooms. Plus 4 or 5 little booths to change in. I managed to snsg a booth. I don't think the boy should have been in the women's locker room.

22 days still to go? That's a long time for the kids to stay 'wound up'. lol Hope your day goes/went well.

Today they all seemed pretty mellow. I think it may have to do with the weather.

It's summertime here also and it's 35C here in Metro Manila. There's a little rain here in sometimes that's why it's so hot here! I have a lot of ice with me in my table maybe i can consume 4 ice a day.

I think I will take my chances. I will not cover things. They are all up by the house.

Wow only 22 more days of school. Hard to believe another school year is coming to an end. It's so nice to see many conversations starting about gardening, plants, etc. instead of the dismal winter weather.
