I had another lucky day

Well, I’m home from the fashion parade and had a very enjoyable time although I didn’t buy any clothing. However, I did win not one, but two, prizes. Before the parade started, we were told to look on the bottom of our small plates. We had plates as we were being served afternoon tea later. On the bottom of mine was a piece of paper saying ‘the winner is you’. So that was nice. You can see my prize in the photo. It’s the smaller box in the front. The box is full of beauty products and would be worth quite a few dollars. My friend then won one of six raffle prizes although she wasn’t there to pick it up. Hers is the bigger box. We brought it home for her. I was telling everyone I was going to swap them and keep the big one for myself. For the second last raffle prize, my name was drawn out again and I won a bottle of wine, which is also in the photo. So I was very pleased with my day.

The chemist donated a great number of products. He was very generous but with the village so close, a lot of our people go there.

Very nice, I see some pampering going on! It is fun to win things. Taylor Swift is so wildly popular here it is not funny..and one of the sites I am on is giving away tickets and a 2,000 dollar Visa card to attend the show in Miami. YOu should see how many people signed up for that! Even I did, although I think I might have to re do my entry. You are supposed to tag 3 people in it. Winning that would be like winning a lottery ticket!
