Some of the clothes seen at the fashion parade

Yesterday, our lifestyle village held a fashion parade. I thought you might like to see some of the outfits which were modelled by some of our residents. The clothes were from several different labels and available in a large range of sizes but none were for really young people. The commentator was very good pointing out that some of the outfits could be worn with sneakers, or worn with a different colour top that would bring out a certain colour in, say, the jacket. All fashion-speak but well done just the same. I hope you enjoy the photos.

Very good photos and I like also the clothes. Particularly the grey one bottom middle, that I would never wear combined with sneakers!

Not all were designed to be worn with sneakers. One lady wore quite high heels. I'd think I'd be a bit dangerous in those nowadays.

@JudyEv I avoid high heels now, mainly because we do not live anymore in a city, our roads are all up and down and often not asphalted, I like a lot more not too high heels, 3 to 5 cm is good for me.

I think the bottom left looks very youthful. It appeals to me but would probably not be as pretty as it is on her.

A lot of the women liked that one. I did too. I'm a bit sorry now that I didn't try any of them on but I can always go to their shop later.

These ladies look fabulous and I love their outfits! Their fashion is lovely and tasteful . . . unlike the ones we see in those ridiculous high end foo foo fashion shows.

The clothes were all suitable for most of us. Some were casual but others would be suitable as 'best' outfits.

No, this parade was totally for ladies. The men just had to pay for the clothes. lol But even that doesn't really ring true nowadays. All the ladies here seem to have independent funds to a degree.

There were a few men helping with the food and champagne when we arrived but certainly all ladies at the parade.

They are beautiful outfits. I particularly like the floral dress, in the bottom left. It has alot of colours, and could be worn with different coloured dress shoes.

I think that was one of the favourite outfits. From memory, there was elastic round the waist but no buttons or zips.
