5/9/24 - Update on My Husband

Yesterday I was informed that the last day of coverage from the insurance company would be Friday, May 10. I had to file another appeal. I'm getting to be good at that. Looks like we will be getting a week for every appeal that we win.
Later in the day I received a call from the rehab facility that my husband wasn't feeling well during physical therapy and that his blood pressure was very low and his AFIB was very high; so he was taken to the ER. This is the same problem he had when he was at Cleveland Clinic. When I checked with the hospital later in the day, I was told that he wasn't there anymore. I was finally able to talk to someone at the rehab facility who told me that they were just bringing him back into the facility.
He didn't call me last night; so I was not able to get any details.

I do think they should have kept him for observation for a day or two, but hey, I’m not a doctor. I know AFIB messes with everything, but still…hang in there, Linda

The AFIB may be the reason they didn't...I remember you saying once that he is always in AFIB?

Your husband should be okay. Otherwise, they won't send him back to the facility.

Once you get to see your husband you find out what was done at the hospital and how he really is, They're beginning to treat him too much like a yo-yo. Many blessings to you both and I keep him in my prayers,

He called this afternoon. His phone and everything he had disappeared. Turns out someone put his tray and belongings in the bathroom for safe keeping.
