Hubby wanted to get out

Hubby heard that the farmer's market in Newton was opening today. I told him there would not be a lot today, but we went.
Then we went to Wal Mart, where I bought premade sandwiches, chips, tea, fruit and pastry for us to eat while we were out. Much more satisfying and less expensive than lunch at a fast food place or a diner. We pulled over in the shade of a road side information panel.
We also went to Meridian Market, which sells bulk items, and scratch and dent items.
While shopping I was able to remember several things I have been forgetting. It was a good day out.
I came home and took another nap. It is 87 F the last I checked.
Church tomorrow.
I have plenty to keep me busy here otherwise.

Sounds like a nice outing, with an impromptu picnic. I would rather have that than fast food any day.

Buying food that way is often cheaper and healthier than buying from a fast food place.
